Boots in Chard offer a very poor level of service. The waiting times for prescriptions are horrendous, prepare for 1 to 2 hours wait. There are insufficient numbers of staff who are all stressed and can be rude to customers. Customers who are already sick are becoming cross at having to wait so long. Boots need to address the issues and put in more staff and self help systems. For example for purchases they could have a till to scan your own goods and pay or use home delivery services for prescriptions which could be delivered. I really dislike going there.

Yesterday 17th Jan at about 2,45 pm there were at least eighteen people waiting for a prescription , staff were running around either stretched or poorly organised or both, I understand Boots at Chard are short of pharmacists. What is Boots doing to remedy this atrocious service

Always long waiting times . Very slow staff service . only one person serving. i would advise anyone to avoid this chemist .
