    Our previous pharmacy let us down now and again and often had no chair for disabled customers to sit on whilst they wait. Boots let us down less frequently and normally have two chairs for us old folk. Sadly, having driven down from Bratton Fleming (an hour's journey because South West Water had closed the road and the diversion added 30 minutes to our journey), the nice lady behind the counter said "sorry, no prescriptions today, the computer is down". Very frustrating, having almost run out of tablets to be told we have to make the long drive in again tomorrow, hoping the computer is up. It is even more frustrating because Google lists a telephone number for the Fremington branch of Boots but no-one ever answers the telephone when we call.

    Been using this pharmacy for over 2 years, both for repeat prescriptions and then this last week following GP visit and Dr. Sent across prescription request. Medication is never ever ready - even when leaving 4/5 days or on one occasion 7days before collecting. This latest request made by my Dr on 21.6. 23 before 10am, called in on afternoon of 23rd told not ready, ordered in and would be ready on afternoon of 24th. Called in this morning 26th - told still not ready, they did have in stock in this branch? But would need to wait 15mins (not possible as had another appointment) or come back late afternoon. No apologies and no improvement in service in over 2 years - there doesn’t appear to be any methodology to the making up of prescriptions or prioritising, I regularly overhear other customers being told meds aren’t ready even though prescriptions have been received several days previously. Whilst I understand this is a small outlet and I am sure have a large number of customers - but will be moving to postal delivery asap to see if service improves.
