Unfortunately, it is not possible to recommend this practice. I went to collect a prescription on Saturday 30 March which had been sent down from the surgery on the morning of the 28th. The chemist had to make up the prescription whilst I waited, which took 45mins. This is now a regular occurrence at this chemist.

Since the the original manager left the service for prescriptions has been atrocious we are kept waiting for up to an hour on some occasions I was kept waiting for 45 minutes

The last visits during this month have resulted in lengthy waits for service, disgruntled customers in long queues, then prescription location not being found. Items also not available necessitating repeat visits and going through the process again. I feel the service is not as one would wish. May I suggest there are 2 staff members available to attend customers as there has been in the past. People purchasing goods are having to wait with customers collecting prescription which is a slow process for everyone concerned. Thank you for your consideration of this review.
