Staff lie about prescription waiting times. Left child without important medicine for weeks. Don't answer the phone. Terrible waiting times. Needs a new leadership team and complete re think of how to treat customers.

  2. Review titled Waited over 30 minutes

Rated 1 star out of 5

Ordered online, went 5 hours after the order was confirmed only to find there was no record of my prescription. Painfully slow service, the queue was around the Manchester Eastlands store. It's impossible to cancel and obtain a refund for store pick-ups. My last and final order if I ever get it

After a call to 111 and finally being advised that an electronic prescription was being sent by the out of hours GP, this pharmacy refused to check for the receipt of my emergency antibiotics, leaving me without for another 17 hours without appropriate medication. They also closed they're shutters with 15 minutes before closing refusing to be helpful.

  4. Review titled Not fit for purpose

So I order my prescription through my GP online, and while they say it would be ready after 3 working days, I usually leave it 5 just in case. I walk into Asda with the intention of doing some shopping, so I stop by the pharmacy first as despite having it already ordered, I know I'll have to wait for it anyway. After queuing for 10 minutes, I get told to come back in 20 minutes. Again, I don't understand why it isn't already made up, but hey ho, I have shopping to do. I do my shopping and come to queue up again after 25-30 minutes (queuing for probably 5-10 minutes), to then be told that the pharmacist needs to sort it so I will have to wait but I'm not told how long I have to wait for so I assume it won't be long. 20 gruelling minutes later (essentially over an hour since the first time I spoke to them) and finally its ready. This is all for one small item of 28 Sertraline tablets. No one at any point apologised for my long wait, and I wasn't the only one having a long wait, with someone asking to speak to the pharmacist as well to make a complaint. If this was a one off, I could excuse this but it happens time and time again. Its a 5-10 minute walk from my house to reach, but in the time it takes to receive my prescription, I could have made the 25 minute walk to the pharmacy next to my GP and walked back with time still to spare. I don't know if their issues are a staff issue, or if it's a corporate thing with Asda but I just don't understand how it can get away with operating how it does, and how people who order even more items than myself can actually use this service. I will be avoiding this pharmacy like the plague in the future.

  5. Review titled Waste of tine

Looking in the back for 5minutes then say it’s out of stock. Why can’t I be notified when I place the order. Staff talking between themselves especially the red headed one with glasses. Then come out and say they can order it - that’s fine I try put as much notice in for my prescription as I know how delayed they can be. Also had instances where they say it will be a 20minute wait when I put the prescription in over a week prior - shocking service

  6. Review titled Poor service

This is the second in two months I’ve had problems with this pharmacy. Same issue but this time worse! Went to collect prescription was told to call back in an hour, so I did, waited for another 25 minutes in the queue to be told it hasn’t arrived yet, call back later. Left it for over 4 hours, I went back and was told they haven’t got it! Apparently is someone is now going to ring me tomorrow to let me know when it arrives. But I won’t hold my breath as this is what I was told last time this happened and I never received a call. Also, trying to get hold of the pharmacy on the phone is a joke, it rings out so you end up having to drive there just to check! Changing pharmacies
