had an echo done by them from an ad hoc call from a doctor who I had spoken to once before one and a half years previous tole me I needed an echo went for it and took five months of messing to get my driving licence and dvlc revoked my c1 for my camper never seen a doctor and was classed as ny class I have no symptoms but I think this company are private and are milking the NHS the previous conversation with there specialist was 40 minutes late and he insisted had been for a scan to Blackpool hospital never been to a hospital there it was done in warrington but he told me I was wrong three times until told him the name off the person who did the scan there is more but will post again when this is sorted

  2. Review titled Poor echo and communication

Rated 1 star out of 5

I turned up to the echo and was seen promptly. No introduction. No explanation just told to get on the couch and take my tops off. Scan was performed. At the end I was told that something was wrong and I shouldn’t do any exercise or anything strenuous. Nothing else explained. I have then been quite anxious. I did complain via the feedback. I had a call to discuss and the scan was reviewed by pds team and it was decided the scan was normal and it was put to the technician to change the result if he felt necessary. This is now with my Gp. I emailed pds to ask if it was going to be amended - no reply. However in that time I’ve had to have an admission to ggh, I’ve had to have a gp appt and someone in cardiology review it, a cardiac mri has now been requested and I’m having a 24 hour tape. All because of this echo that is ‘normal’ but ‘not normal’. Seems an awful lot of follow up on a routine test that should be straightforward. I feel as though I’ve been put through an awful lot of anxiety due to difference of opinion or may be experience.

  3. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

After reading reviews previously posted here dating from 2021 I was wary about my appointment this afternoon with Pds Medical for an echocardiogram at the Merlyn Vaz Centre in Leicester. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The appointment came quicker than I expected, the e mail I was sent in advance contained all the information I needed and the description of what would happen was spot on. On arrival there was no queue or delay and the clinician who treated me was thoroughly competent and professional. The result of the scan is not good news but that is not his fault and at least my GP and I now have reliable information on which to base decisions about the next steps. If you are offered an echocardiogram with Pds Medical, take it.
