I attended Woodlands for a cataract removal procedure. I was there for nearly 3 hours. Whilst I was there, I never felt that I was just left alone- the nurses were lovely, attentive and efficient. The procedure only took about 20 minutes - in between my BP was taken, nurses explained what was going to happen , a cup of tea was made for me. In preparation for the procedure , the nurse kept asking if I was ok, she made sure I was comfortable. After the procedure my BP was taken again. A nurse went through aftercare. Another cup of tea was made for me. It all went very smoothly. I appreciated the care I received.

Many thanks to the orthopaedic surgeon & his team for the excellent treatment throughout my experience of knee replacement from beginning to end. Always kind, cheerful & pleasant. Worst part was tackling the green stockings!. Locals were amazed how quickly I could walk properly after the op. Very grateful indeed to you all & will be back for a hip replacement before long. Signage to the hospital needs replacing immediately for safety reasons.

Sorry about the green stockings!! The signage to the hospital is being resolved by Highways Uk and they promise a resolution is imminent. Amazing,friendly staff, look after you very well, clean facility's, and dignity of having your own room, before and after my procedure I was well informed and observed, yummy food too, would definetly recommend this place to anyone!

We had a visit to see our consultant regarding my back issue on the 3rd March. Not only was he very helpful and he patiently explained the problems with my back to me. The staff in the small reception area were brilliant too. They bent over backwards to enable my urgent appointments required to be scheduled quickly and efficiently thus putting my mind at ease. Thank you very much to the staff at Woodlands.

After hip replacement no physio was provided am in more pain now than beforehand re replacement. Very poor reason provided for not providing physio. Have reported this previously and no action taken nor any contact made by Ramsey health (woodlands hospital)

Thank you for sharing your comments with us. From our records, it shows physiotherapy was provided for your pre and post operatively for your 1st procedure (hip). Post operative physio is based on a clinical need for your 2nd procedure ( knee) which would be requested by your Consultant. From the time I came to the hospital until the time I left , staff were so kind and efficient. Surgeon and anaesthetist team were amazing and put me at ease straight away . Physiotherapist was very supportive. The nurses were so caring and helpful

This is the second operation I have had at Woodlands this year, spinal operation NHS funded in August, and a total hip replacement t in October, privately funded due to the long NHS waiting list and the extreme pain that not even escalating doses of morphine could control. On both occasions my experience was the same. Excellent surgical and medical care in clean facilities. Dignity of own room, empathetic staff, from nurses to auxiliary staff .I felt they made time to care for the patient as an individual. Aftercare is amazing too, 24 hour telephone number to staff. All hospitals should and could be like this.

I was very lucky to have my TKR revision at Woodlands Hospital as the care and professionalism from the consultant, nursing staff, and physio team was excellent. It is refreshing to find a team who are dedicated to providing the very best care, and I am very grateful that I was able to have my operation there.
