    I booked my arrival with the main receptionist a couple of minutes before my appointment time and was directed to the X-ray area. There was an unscheduled emergency ahead of me so I waited patiently until they had been seen. They had their X-ray and left. After another 15 minutes or so (35 mins from my arrival) I asked when I would be asked to go in. The lady who sat at what appears to be the X-ray reception area directed me to sit down again and wait. After an hour since my appt time I asked once more and I was directed this time back to the main receptionist. She telephoned to discover my appt had been overlooked completely. Ten minutes later the X-ray was completed and I was able to go home with my husband who had been waiting in the car. The X-ray technician should have checked her scheduled appointments. Secondly, the administrator should have directed me to the main receptionist in the first instance rather than tell me to sit down again so I may have not waited so long. I am very frustrated and lack confidence in the system

    Recovering from a hip operation, I was sent to WCH for rehab. I’ve never a better experience in any hospital (St Peter’s, Frimley Park, Ashford) than I got at Walton. You’re all stars!
