    Despite confirming my private appointment, the doctor failed to show up. This lack of professionalism and disregard for patients' time is concerning, especially considering the strict policy of charging patients for no-show appointments.

    Very reassuring and felt confident with the programme I was given. Very knowledgeable in his field. Would recommend.

    Dispute paying £150 for my private consultation, the consultant was late and I spent less than 30 minutes with him. I felt rushed. Returned for follow up (another £150) I spent 15 minutes with him and again felt rushed. Despite wanting to go away and consider my options, I was called by the consultants secretary to chase up and ask if I was ready to book in for a procedure, I tried asking questions but found her to be pushy and lacking in any kind of patient with me. I was told that the consultant had already decided which operation I would be having ! When I questioned this I was asked to book another appointment (£150 again) to come back and discuss again with him. This confirmed that he hasn’t listened to me or my thoughts and expectations. It seemed to me that money was more important than patients. I have since been under the care of The Rivers Hospital in Harlow who have been wonderful. The two experiences have been as different as night and day I do not recommend The Cavell

    Everything ran so smoothly . I have been/stayed in this hosp several times over the past years and its so comforting and everyone is kind. caring I almost look forward to my visits.. I would not go anywhere else

  5. Review titled Bad communication all round

    I was booked to have an endoscopy and was meant to be called about my medication choice but no one did. The endoscopy failed without sedation I was told that i could try again next week in the theatre but on discharge told I would get a phone call In 6 weeks This was to book another appointment in another 6 weeks. I cancelled this appointment but no one got my message. Very bad communication and a very long wait. I was an NHS patient. I was referred in Feb and as it went wrong they did not have another slot till september .

    Had an overnight stay following a Replacement Reverse Shoulder procedure. Well looked after by all levels of staff from Sister to catering. I feel sure that the calming environment will help a speedy recovery

    As a very anxious patient, it was lovely to be helped by every staff member there. The receptionist at the Endoscopy Unit,the four lovely nurses, who looked after me before, during and after the procedure and the consultant were wonderful.
