    Took my mother here and the staff and treatment were first class. Really impressed and proud of our NHS for managing to do what they do under such difficult circumstances.

    Took my son for an appointment for an ear problem after being referred by 111. Was seen on time, doctor was thorough and helpful and we were in and out very quickly. Really grateful for the good service.

    I visited the Urgent Care today for my 11 month old daughter to be seen after having had a persistent cough and fever for over a week to be told the wait was approximately 2 hours. I waited for an hour before asking roughly our position as my daughter was getting very restless and upset to be told there were two people ahead of us, half an hour later and my daughter was even more upset so I asked were we were in the queue (if it was still 2 people ahead I would be leaving as I couldn’t keep her in that situation for much longer) to be told we were next, but another hour went passed and we still were not called through. I understand that there are other people who may have taken priority and that not everyone would have been seeing the same professionals, but why were we left waiting when every single person there before us had been through and multiple people who had arrived after us (some 2 hours after) had been called through? Surely an 11month old baby takes some priority over adults as that’s who was mainly in the waiting area? Absolutely disgraceful.

    I attended the Urgent Treatment Centre on a Saturday morning for a badly infected finger (having initially gone down the route of seeing a pharmacist and subsequently failing to get a telephone appointment with my GP). I was registered with Reception, seen by a Triage nurse and treated, all within the space of just over an hour (it was admittedly an unusually quiet morning). This minor injuries unit is such an essential local service, available 7 days a week, currently from 8am to 8pm. It saved me a trip (and no doubt a much longer wait) at A and E at the main hospital in the area. Minor injuries can sometimes become complicated ones if left, and the Sevenoaks urgent care centre bridges the gap between GP and main hospital A and E. I cannot thank the staff enough for the treatment they provided to me and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this invaluable local facility to other residents in the area.

    Attended today with my daughter who had an infected ‘bug’ bite, from the moment we walked in to the time we left which was under an hour all the staff were amazing. Polite, friendly and professional.A prescription prescribed as well. Thank you

    Found staff to be unprofessional, waiting time longer than stated. First visit there after an accident. I visited twice within a couple of days. Even though injuries were quite apparent, there was no empathy or assistance. No guidance given.

    My colleague visited urgent care unit on 7th September at 1:30pm. It said 2.5 to 3 hours wait. After 4.5 hours I joined her to keep company, still no news. I made some enquiries only then she was 'next'. All the people arrived just after her left long ago. The reason for delay explained as 'one practitioner '. Which I don't really understand, if all the people arrived just after her was gone long time ago. Apparently there was no 'mistake made'. They could have at least updated her after 3 hours if a lot longer, then she could have chosen to go somewhere else. I sympathize with difficult situation NHS workers are facing, but I think more effort should be made to inform us with the situation better.

    Referred for blisters treatment, went on Saturday. Great nurse and GP. Unfortunately GP precribed an ointment 30gm size which no pharmacy in Sevenoaks can obtain - go back and get a prescription for 100gm. First system gripe - I realise more expensive for larger size but the admin cost of replacing is probably greater. This is an ointment, I cannot "overdose" on it so why not just give me a larger tube. Anyway back to Minor Injuries today, jumped the big queue(!) to advise the receptionist of the issue hoping it could be easily sorted without going to back of queue. She listened and enquired of a passing nurse who confirmed they would change it quickly, just wait for a few minutes. But then had to go to triage again(who heard all this) and was advised "no", you have to go into the system and queue, different GP today so you have to start again. All for a different size of tube. Queried the conflicting stories from them but triage adament and was not going to check with anyone else. So now I will go to the GP today as referral to minor injuries was to see a nurse but they determined I needed a doctor - so why sit and wait a few hours in Minor Injuries when I can book a doctor's appointment.

    Went to minor injuries unit this morning. Triage, consultation, x-ray and results all within 75 mins. Was asked if I had initially tried to see my GP. Yes, offered an appointment in 5 weeks! So fortunate to have this great facility in Sevenoaks. GP surgeries need to take note.
