This hospital is simply incredible. I can't sing its praises highly enough. Both the staff and the medical care are fabulous. It is world class in so many areas and deserves so much its wonderful reputation. My wife has been a patient for 6 and a half years and had extensive treatment there. Without exception everyone has been absolutely wonderful, even when the news has been tough. It is impossible to find fault with such a place and my thanks to absolutely everyone, throughout the hospital, medical, administrative and behind the scenes. It is a real privelige to have such a hospital in the area and equally to be a patient there. This hospital simply shows how good an organisation - any organisation - can be. It sets an incredible standard and achieves that standard, day in day out, and is a role model for others to aim at. There are too many people to list in terms of praise - so can I simply say "thank you" to you all for doing such a phenmenal job.

Visited the Minor Injuries Unit this evening after failing to get a GP appointment today and a lengthy wait for a call back from 111. Very short wait time, less than 5 minutes, friendly receptionist and very efficient nurse. Brilliant service as always in this Minot Injuries Unit.

On the 11/01/2023 at 13:00hrs. I visited the minor injury unit for assistance and reassurance of the consequence of a possible injury to my left foot after returning to this country from a skiing holiday. I was greeted immediately by a warm and friendly clinician who with little delay analysed my injury and addressed my concerns as to my foot injury. He went one step above by taking time to complete a full report on the status of my foot even though he was not obliged to fulfil such a task. This assisted me greatly in my negotiations with my insurance company. I was immensely impressed by his courtesy, expertise and professionalism which is reflected by the minor injury unit as a whole. I would be happy to repeat these commendations to anyone whose is prepared to listen.

I arrived on an urgent referral in the early morning in January from the hand trauma team. By mid morning my extensive injuries had been assessed and surgery was booked for 2pm the same day. Surgery took place at just after 2pm, the entire team (surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses etc) were incredible, organised and caring I was picked up by my wife at 8.30pm on the same day and came home I do not have the words to thank everybody for their incredible treatment, all I can say is the treatment I received was mind blowing in terms of professionalism , speed and compassion Thank you all x

Could not rate the care my son received today anything less but perfect. Such a credit to the NHS, with all of the staff including the nurses, admin and drs preseting as caring and professional. My son received treatment in area 26 for a fracture and I just want to say a massive thankyou to all of the staff I encountered on that ward and throughout the hospital. Every staff member was pleasant, empathetic, friendly, and approachable. The restaurant was fantasticly priced with hot and home cooked food. Well done...amazing service x.

I attended QVH MIU on Saturday because I'd injured my thumb grating cheese. It had an underlying swelling on the knuckle and I was concerned it might become infected. I received prompt treatment at MIU. Photos of the (quite small) trauma were taken and referred to the on-duty hand specialist. He recommended x-rays were taken and I was given an appointment to attend the Trauma Clinic the following Monday morning. Yesterday I attended the hospital, was seen quickly, discussed and agreed treatment with the surgeon and was operated on. The procedure turned out to be more complicated than the simple cut and drain we all thought it would be but I was kept informed throughout and a cyst/abcess was successfully removed by an excellent team. Aftercare was just as good, I got a much needed cuppa and biccy and was sent home with much advice and antibiotics. My sincere thanks to everyone involved for treatment which could not have been matched by the private sector.

Daughter went into surgery to go have a tooth removed. Can’t express how helpful and calming the staff were and the staff in the discharge lounge are utterly amazing! So kind and caring. Can’t thank you all enough for all you did for my daughter today ❤️

Although only a small op the wrong op was done on the day. Not the one I had been promised which has left me in pain in a year on. Nurses were all lovely but Doctors didn't care.
