Visited the breast imaging centre as a result of finding a lump, was referred by my GP and received an appointment to the breast imaging centre within a week. I was seen promptly for an initial assessment by a consultant, then a mammogram about 45 mins later, followed by an ultrasound about 30 mins after the mammogram. Shortly after that, I had another meeting with the consultant to discuss the findings of the mammogram and scans. All of the staff were polite, professional and reassuring. I found them to be efficient and they made the whole experience as positive as can be hoped for, under the circumstances. Please pass on my thanks for the services they provide.

Referred to princess Anne to have polyps removed and Mirena Inserted under local anaesthetic. Very painful for me, but the doctor, nurse and students could not have been nicer or done more to make sure I was calm and comfortable. They really explained to me what was happening and made sure I was okay to continue. Not a pleasant thing to have done, but glad I got the care I did. Highly recommend

I visited for secondary breast screening today. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional and explained everything well. The process was quick (in and out within 45 minutes having had two investigations and a consultation) and reassuringly professional. A well-run department with lovely staff. Thank you.
