Whilst on holiday in November my husband developed an infection with a fever, luckily this excellent community hospital was open on a Sunday and he was seen very quickly by a Nurse Practioner. She and the other staff dealt with us very professionally and efficiently and prescribed antibiotics which enabled us to carry on with our holiday.

Having spent traumatic evening before with severe stabbing pains in head attended this hospital early morning Wednesday 8 and was promptly seen by Advanced Nurse Practitioner who listened examined and to relief advised I had shingles which whilst painful not as bad as some imagining. Prescription and advice promptly given and week later condition much improved. Keswick so lucky to have such a facility so excellently managed. Well done all concerned

A big thank you to all the minor injuries team who have been helping me for the past six weeks. You go above and beyond with a smile and laugh despite the busy shifts. You are a true asset to the community and nursing as a whole. Thank you so much xxxxx

  5. Review titled Super experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

As a visitor to the area the staff in the Urgent Care department couldn’t have been more helpful, welcoming and efficient. The lady on Reception was caring and kept patients waiting updated on progress. The nurse practitioner I saw, even though she was the only nurse in the clinic, was thorough and pleasant to deal with. Felt saddened to hear that this facility is threatened by cuts when clearly it is a shining example of how the NHS should be. The staff are a credit to their profession and Keswick needs this facility especially considering the number of holiday makers in the area.

  6. Review titled Super service, great staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I fell and hurt my leg whist staying in Keswick. All the staff here were just lovely! The place is so clean and well kept, clearly the staff take a lot of pride in where they work. They even made me a cup of tea, unheard of at any practice in our home town! A shining example of how all the NHS should operate.

  7. Review titled Great service

After a fall which I cut my hand I telephoned to see if I could attend the injury clinic ( the person I spoke to was very welcoming) We attended and was greeted again with a very kind attitude, we didn’t have to wait very long ie 35 minutes The nurse removed all the grit from the injury very efficiently and dressed my hand. We found all this situation quite unusual as the hospitals in London would have taken at least 4 to 6 hours and they certainly wouldn’t have been as pleasant. So I would like to thank everyone there.

  8. Review titled Fantastic Health Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

While on holiday, I required minor medical treatment and was advised to attend this hospital by 111. I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival, my medical condition was treated and I was discharged in about 30 minutes with good treament and medication. The Doctors and Nurses were so friendly and approachable. Fantastic service. I know its "their job", but I wanted to say the team working that day (6/5/22) were brilliant. Credit to the NHS. Thank you.
