    There are three problems. Firstly, there are not enough trained psychiatric nurses. Secondly, there is an overall reliance on untrained HCA staff and thirdly the patient mix in the unit is very broad and results in some unpleasant and difficult patients between patients and staff It is also concerning that the hospital does not currently have Care Quality Approval. why not????

    I would support the other review posted. Also my concern is running out of food. Most medication should be taken with or after meals, & those who are diabetic need food for stabilising glucose levels. From my hospital stay I believe medical ethics especially for Clinicians, needs a comprehensive review. I too was questioning why the CQC hadn't inspected the unit. I'm heavily editing my review to comply with the guidelines. The mindfulness groups were excellent & fun. My young grandson loves balloon tennis.
