  1. Review titled Podiatry 'can't help' message

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 May 2023

Ringing podiatry, no one to answer. Message prior to answer machine, says 'please be aware our staff might not be able to help you'. Unconceivable for a public service organisation to say this to patients. Very disempowering to staff as well. Even if just to inform, signpost, or even just reassure, staff are able to help.

  2. Review titled Very good service provided

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Gerry Quinn - Posted on 19 May 2022

I value and recommend this service almost unreservedly. I use the service often, but not as frequently as I would like, as I don't regularly receive notification of what should be my routine appointments. Having said that, any telephone requests I make are answered politely and professionally and a suitable appointment made soon afterwards. From then on, the treatment is very good indeed. I am seldom kept waiting. The treatment area is clean and suitably prepared for each patient. All podiatrist I have encountered here, have been knowledgeable and skilful in their field, with many helpful suggestions for on-going footcare. They undertake procedures diligently and professionally in a very efficient and personable manner treating the patient as an individual and engaging in conversation regarding general health issues, as appropriate. The young man on my most recent visit was super-efficient and comprehensive in his approach. Knowing that I had another meeting within about half an hour, I was amazed that he was able to carry out routine maintenance punctiliously and thoroughly address particular issues I had within a very short amount of time, enabling me to get to my next meeting comfortably! Well done!!
