Review titled Excellent first experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 20 March 2023
Attended for first session of physio after being referred by my GP. I was extremely impressed with the informative and very useful advice given to me by the student physiotherapist who I understand is working on a placement basis at the hospital. He demonstrated the exercises he recommended and oversaw my attempts to undertake them with patience and encouragement. I left the appointment with a much more positive attitude towards improving my situation. I was given a follow up appointment in three weeks time and am hopeful that my ability to perform the suggested exercises will have progressed considerably. This was a very positive experience and I am very grateful to the NHS for providing such a service.

Review titled Impressive treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended physio on 13th June for my 3 week post-op knee replacement. I was met by the physio promptly and courteously. He was friendly, empathic and very professional. His assessment was thorough. Although I was a retired doctor, he made no attempt to "short-cut" information, which I deeply appreciate. He explained everything clearly to me, and explained the purpose of continuing strengthening exercises. The exercises he subsequently gave me were comprehensive. I am sad that your rules do not allow me to name him because he richly deserves full praise. Considering the huge pressures the NHS is under I come away immensely impressed and grateful for the quality, care and commitment that your staff gave me. Thank you.
