My care was so good from start to finish. I had cubital tunnel operation. Every one was very informative and lots of checks to make sure had correct information. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Nurse even took me to entrance car park to make sure I got back to my husband who was waiting for me.

Excellent friendly staff at all levels of status. Reassured and treated with respect at all times. Hadn’t expected to be treated in a theatre environment but was put at ease. My previous experience of Steroid Injections which had been extremely painful into the ball of my foot was taken into consideration and I was given a separate local anaesthetic which meant I had no pain whatsoever when the syringe needle entered the joint space. I was continually asked as to how I was, which was appreciated. I was also offered a hand to squeeze but as said, I didn’t need it this time, no tears at all.

My husband attended day care today for surgery. Easy access. Staff are so pleasant and extremely helpful. Such a credit to Cannock Chase Hospital.

I attended Cannock hospital as a day patient to have a steroid injection in my arthritic left hip. I'm trying to delay having inevitable hip surgery for a while. Since I saw my consultant and yesterday's appointment was arranged, I had developed bursitis in my right hip, which had a full replacement in 2016. The consultant was happy to also administer an injection in that hip to relieve the bursa. Everything went smoothly and all the staff who dealt with me were friendly, chatty and caring. I can't fault and aspect of my treatment and care.

Attended Hollybank ward at Cannock hospital recently for shoulder surgery, cannot praise all staff for their wonderful care & attention, nothing was too much trouble. Hospital ward is spotlessly clean too.

Attended Cannock Hospital to have an Epidural Injection into bottom of spine. The care and attention from the Doctors and Nurses was excellent. They talked to me throughout the procedure to put my mind at ease. I cannot fault anything. 10 /10

First ever surgical procedure I have had, carried out at Cannock Chase hospital, Hollybank ward. Due to this being a first time, very nervous, but from start to finish, an extremely positive experience. All staff, (including the pre-op appointment a few weeks ago) from the nurses on ward taking blood pressure etc, to the anaesthetist (very funny guy, put mind at rest with humour), to the pre-op nurses assisting the anaesthetist, to the post-op nurses and the physio were all very professional and polite. Seemed a really fun set of staff. Got discharged on the day, paperwork all explained etc. Would rather not be requiring an operation, but this was made a very positive experience by the staff on Hollybank ward. Thank you!

Review titled Made to feel like an old friend

I went to Hollybank Ward for a steroid injection in my wrist. I was made to feel extremely welcome, like an old friend, from the receptionist to all of the nursing staff. They were all extremely professional and caring but firm yet polite. The consultant and his team were again very professional and interested in my well being. After the procedure was completed the consultant checked that I was alright and emphasised that I should contact his secretary if I need any further attention.
