    On 17th April 2023 I needed to book an appointment with a nurse to have clips removed following surgery. I tried to access the online Anima system at 8am as per the procedure. I received the message "Practice at capacity - not currently taking new requests". I called yhp Regis Medical Centre and was caller number 83. I proceeded to wait 1 hour 10 mins before my call was answered. Today I have tried to arrange an appointment for next week with a doctor to obtain a sick note/fit note due to my sick note expiring next week. I was informed that I can not book an appointment in advance and must call on the day to see if an appointment is available. My employer requires a sick note/fit note next week and calling on the day when there is a significant chance that all appointments have been taken is not acceptable.
