Completed the Klinik Form over a month ago - no response in the stated time so contacted surgery (had to be online as no answer to phone) only to be advised still in the "que" for an appointment - very likely I will need hospital referral for X Ray or Scan so the delay is a major concern - the lack of direct enquiry as to my condition unacceptable the practice gives every impression of being dysfunctional and it is clear to see why many resort to visiting the Hospital A&E services which is my next stop

  2. Review titled Poor communication

Tried to use the repeat form for prescription. Won't let me as certain items need to be reviewed by a clinician. As this includes insulin I was wondering why I am not informed of this by the GP. Seems like a lack of duty of care by this medical group. I was told to press 1 and I would get a call vack. 50 mins and still waiting.

  3. Review titled Extremely helpful

I rang the surgery this morning asking for a relatively urgent prescription for my husband. Bearing in mind he’d left very late to repeat and it being Bank holiday the receptionist I spoke to could not have been more helpful and even sent a message to say I could collect medication from the pharmacy today. Many, many thanks Christine

  4. Review titled Poor organisation

I had put a request through for a prescription on 13th June, was asked via text a week later whether I could send a blood pressure reading, told them I could not, then a week later via text asked to come to surgery to get bp readings before they could send prescription. I had at that point managed to get hold of bp monitor so replied with bp readings. Received no response. Tried to call the medical centre, the phone line menu just goes round and round no matter what number I press. First chance I was able to, on 7th July, went to medical centre and took bp readings. Was assured by the receptionist that they would get it to the correct doctor and I would be informed when my prescription had been sent through. Tried to phone medical centre several times, menu still going round no matter what number I pressed. Waited a few weeks (was now several weeks without having taken medication). Called pharmacy, they said did not have it. Put in a message on Klinic. Got a text reply on 29th July, saying that the prescription request had been sent on 20th June elextronically and to give enough time for it to go through. Called pharmacist again on 6th August, they said not got anything, I asked them to make sure, and they said, no nothing since June. I have not had any other prescriptions since Janurary so asked to see if that was still there and not been collected. They said yes. Tower court medical centre had sent through the prescription, prior to receiving the bp readings they had asked for, and not informed me about it. Very frustrating experience. Especially in regard to the phone line- this needs to be sorted! Communication is very poor.
