  1. Review titled Outstanding Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The doctor listened passed me to the appropriate departments , changed my medication which worked straight away My hospital appointments came through within a week I saw a practice nurse within a few days She was first class listening and understanding my issues I went to this surgery very poorly with my mental health a few years ago I was listed to when others were not interested and treated me very unkindly My life has changed for the better because of their care and understanding I am not always easy to deal with but they got me through the tough times never making me feel worthless as others have I can’t review this surgery highly enough There are not enough stars for them From The ladies in reception the team in Dispensary the Nurses, Physio and Doctors Even the cleaners who keep the practice sparkling for us Thank you all

  2. Review titled Rude and unhelpful receptionist

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 April 2023

First issue: I called reception and said “I’m trying to register my family at their surgery but I didn’t think I had submitted all the necessary forms correctly online.” The receptionist simply told me “it takes three weeks to register goodbye” and went to put the phone down. I stopped them putting the phone down and I was then told they had received some of my forms but there was additional forms I had to complete in order to register, but they gave no details as to how to complete the missing forms. So I’m still none the wiser! Second issue: spoke to reception regarding making an appointment, they asked for the standard details I.e. patient name and what the issue was. They then told me they would book an appointment and send the date and time through via text and then ended the call. True to their word I had a text a few seconds after the call was ended. But why could I not be given a date and time on the phone? In the appointment text it says if the date/time is not suitable to call reception to change it. Surely I could have just arranged a suitable time with the receptionist on the phone call? I’m hoping first impressions of this surgery are not an accurate representation of what it is normally like!

  3. Review titled Amazing

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Woodchurch doctors are amazing! They give you so much time and don’t rush you. Two doctors helped with my son who had bad tonsillitis and ended up needed to be admitted to hospital. I was so anxious but the doctors made me feel really calm and made my son less upset. Thankyou for listening and transferring us to hospital where he got the treatment that you guys knew he needed! Without you he would have been so poorly! Thankyou so much!

  4. Review titled Excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am so grateful to the GP I spoke to today who listened carefully, spoke kindly and came up with a really considered and helpful plan of action taking into account numerous factors. I came away feeling less alone with this health challenge and more positive about next steps. Probably the best experience of GP consultation I've ever had. This practice is consistently excellent from reception staff, to nurse, to GPs. They are always polite and kind in their communication and reliable and proactive in their actions. I get the feeling that despite the massive pressures staff are no doubt under this is a practice that really cares about its patients and offers by the best care it possibly can. Thank you so much!

  5. Review titled Exceptional care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been registered with this practice for 17 years. They have always been really good. In the last few years they have been exceptional. Throughout the pandemic they have provided care and support. You can always get help from a GP or other clinician. I have had face to face and telephone consultations and texts to keep me informed. I don't understand the constant complaining in the press. As a patient you need to trust the surgery to provide you with the most appropriate response to your needs. A face to face appointment is not always the best way. Thanks everyone!
