    Do you have two issue then don’t bother! Told at booking on phone that I could only talk about potential chest infection. Fact that I feel awful generally and have barely slept in a month is obviously irrelevant! Hardly ever go to a GP, appalled that when I need them my overall health is just irrelevant. Not bothering as there is no point and there in lies the issue, guess I won’t manage my health and will just present with loads more Issues as I couldn’t get an appointment.

    Dear Anonymous, Many thanks for taking the time to leave your review and we are sorry you are not happy with the service provided. Our GP appointments, like the vast majority of GP practices, operate with 10 minute appointment slots. If a GP overuns those 10 minutes it can leave them running behind time and every other patient on their list will late being seen. Ten minutes is usually long enough to help with a single health issue but it is not long enough to sort out the complex health needs that you appear to have. We suggest you use our popular econsult (via our website) to give us a full rundown of your concerns; this will then be reviewed by a GP who will be able to decide on the best course of action.

    I have been attending the surgery for treatment for a leg wound over the past month or so and have been greatly impressed by the treatment I have received from the team of practice nurses involved in my treatment. The care and attention that I received from all of them was exceptional. I would like to offer my very grateful thanks to all concerned.

    Tried for 2 months to get meds for a long trip abroad. Applied in advance as advised by staff…short note on prescription, not a problem, they do it all the time. Well not for me, three letters four phone calls two visits to the reception , still no meds and I travel next week. It appears the have pharmacists who decide if you can have your meds early, but fail to tell you you can’t…not even the GP who signed it off apparently. So third attempt has disappeared into the ether 13 days ago, after handing it in at the reception with great promises it would be sorted. Today they can’t find it again!! No doubt it’s with the pharmacist who have no care for my health whilst abroad or the high level of anxiety this is causing to a patient. Thanks Whitemoor, look like I will have to go without.

    Dear Annonymous Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and I am sorry to hear about the issues you are facing obtaining medication. There are a number of NHS guidelines about the issue of medication for people who are travelling outside the UK for an extended period so please contact a member of the management team at the practice if you need some further help with these.

    Presented with claims of pelvic discomfort and questions regarding prostate issues . The Doctor , who I know I’m not allowed to name , was very kind and reassuring and conducted the required examination with impressive thoroughness and care . The whole process was seamless and very good humoured and complete . ( blood test arrangements etc sorted ) the appointment had been a few days earlier very pleasantly by the receptionist who I knew to be dealing with A high volume calls at the time . I could ask for no more in terms of care a service .

    I have an acute skin condition and unfortunately my prescriptions seemingly get messed up, forgotten and on occasions I think due to how busy the doctors are I have felt they are very disconnected to my personal situation. However, the receptionists here have supported me, mopped me up, sorted out appointments, prescriptions, listened and been so kind. I personally can’t thank them enough. And I have recently noted a massive improvement with the doctors. But the receptionists well! The difference they have made to my life I cannot put in words. Thank you. Thank you, thank you!

    Over the past 8 weeks I've had cause to need to visit Whitemoor for a number of different health problems. I've seen different Doctors, nurses, medical students and a physiotherapist. The care, treatment, kindness & thoroughness I've experienced has been excellent. Thank you everyone.

    The Doctors and all of the staff are absolutely brilliant. We have nothing but praise for their kindness, helpfulness and consideration. We find they always seem to go beyond our expectations. They are always helpful and understanding. Both me and my husband cannot understand anyone complaining if they get the quality of service that we have always received. We moved away from Belper to the other side of Derby, but the 30 mile round trip is certainly worth it. Long may it continue

    Well, what can one say. Since Whitemoor Medical Centre updated their computer systems in December 2022 reordering prescriptions has been a nightmare! On two or three occasions I have had to phone several times to both the practice and the pharmacy to find out if my repeat prescription has been processed and when I could expect. Each time I had ordered via the nhs app. Each time the app stated it had been issued. But each time the pharmacy informed they had not received my prescription - after 7 days! I've had to chase up my meds and also attended at the practice to sort it out. Being disabled this was especially a problem!

    Typical service today - At 8.35 I rang with concerns. Reception told me the doctor would ring back at or after 10.00. At 9.50 I was rung back and told a Face to Face would be more appropriate. I was offered a choice of appointments for the morning or afternoon. At 9.40 I saw the doctor who was courteous, clearly addressed my issues that were related and set out the steps required for me, all in 10 minutes. Fab service. If it could be improved I have absolutely no idea how.
