   We have a young Ukrainian refugee staying with us, and she had her first initial registration appointment with a doctor at West Pottergate soon after arrival. She was very anxious before her appointment and nervous about how she would be treated. She came home afterwards, completely reassured and felt safe in the doctor's care. Additionally, she felt listened to and that her anxieties were taken seriously and that the doctor understood the context of her medical history and the context of her current situation. This was important to her, and she appreciated it enormously.
