    The experience i have had with the surgery has always been positive the reception staff have always been helpful and offered me appointments on when ringing them always friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them just want to say a massive thank you to all reception staff and the faboulous doctors who go above and beyond been at these doctors for years and even threw the pandamic they still went above and beyond were posiible excellent surgery

    I tried to book an appointment for my Mum. When I finally got through, the receptionist would not let me book without a detailed explanation of her illness. Since, obviously, I couldn't do that, they wouldn't book her in and basically put the phone down on me. Absolutely disgusting. When did receptionists become triage nurses? And why do I have to give personal health details to an unqualified person.? This surgery is getting worse and worse.

    The phone lines open at 8:30am. You're immediately in a queue with at least a dozen people. By the time they answer, all appointments are gone. They tell you to phone back tomorrow. Guess what happens tomorrow. See step 1. As a working person, I just need a date and time in my calendar. I don't care if the appointment is three weeks on Tuesday. Why can't we just book an appointment for goodness sake? For a time they had the ability to book an appointment on the app. But this penetrated their bureaucracy, so they removed it. See step 1. Good luck.

    Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Due to the current demand, the practice hold back a percentage of appointments each day for routine or emergency symptoms, and patients can ring from 8am to book these. We do still offer a number of pre-bookable appointments however due to the high demand for appointments they tend to fill very quickly. We have been making continuous efforts to recruit additional GP’s to increase our appointment capacity but this has proven difficult. While we accept and understand that our model may not work for every patient, it also reduces the number of missed appointments, and therefore allows the most efficient use of the ones available. We would be more than happy to look into your individual concerns so that we can investigate and learn from this feedback.
