Very understanding and helpful, time to listen and good advice, nurse today was a locum 19th July 2023, absolutely brill standing in for also great nurses we have, wish I could name them!!.. thank you for your great help and service.

Having joined this surgery after our previous gp retired, I have found the front line staff on the reception desk to be churlish, obstinate and borderline rude. The communication has been shockingly poor, and as a result we have been unable to obtain vital medication. There has been no consideration or care shown towards individual circumstances and the receptionist made no attempt to resolve, rectify or relay information to the GP which could have changed the outcome with regards to not being able to obtain important medication. I have never ever had any issues with gp front line staff prior to joining this practice, but after my experience here as a new patient, I would absolutely not recommend this practice to anyone considering joining it. There are obvious training needs that need to be addressed and channels of communication need re-assessing as I have hit a brick wall whilst trying to explain complex and mitigating circumstances that impact how services are accessed. I could not tell you anything about the GP’s as I have yet to gain either a telephone or face to face appointment with them, and there seems no urgency to help rectify this even if this means new patients going without urgent medication whilst receptionists are quite prepared to fob patients off with standard responses from a bank of stock phrases. I cannot tell you how disgusted I am with this practice.

All the staff without exception are brilliant. They are efficient, friendly and caring. I am so happy that my family are with this practice and can't thank them enough for consistently good care.
