My wife needed pretty prompt care, I accompanied her for support. GP had not seen her or me before but provided outstanding care. Caring, appropriate, checked for her safety, clarified her needs and wishes, communicative. Wonderful care. Chapeau

My family has just been deregistered from this practice with no notice (we moved house just down the road and apparently the surgery wrote to us but they wrote to an non-existent address and we did not receive the correspondence). We regularly access GP services as a member of our family has mental health issues and developmental disabilities. We went to make an appointment this week for a further review, the reception staff told us we were no longer registered, sniggered at us over the phone and said to go elsewhere.

Dear Patient, Unfortunately you moved outside our practice boundary. We wrote to you on the 23rd February at the address that was provided, to notify you that you would be deducted in one months time. I also e-mailed you on the 17th March as I was concerned that you had not yet registered elsewhere. You are welcome to e-mail me directly if you wish to discuss your interactions with the Doctors and reception team serena.medina@nhs.net

It is near impossible to get an appointment at this surgery. I have been a patient for over six years and it takes about a month to be seen in person; beyond Covid vaccinations, I don’t think our family of three has been able to get an appointment in the last two years. If you’re considering places to register, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Dear Patient, I am sorry that you have had cause to complain. Are you able to get in touch with me to discuss further please. Serena.medina@nhs.net We have been seeing patients face to face and via telephone consultations throughout the pandemic. We have on the day appointments and book (up to two weeks) in advance, so I would like to look into why you have been waiting for a month?
