    Thanks to the young Lady receptionist whom I spoke with on T/p last week. My call was disrupted by an incident at my end. She was concerned enough to call me back later in the day. Her small action made me feel valued. Kindness the wonder drug Thankyou

    Tried multiple times to get an appointment with the doctor by calling at 8am only to be on hold until half past and then missing the 8am deadline to book an appointment. The system for booking appointments is extremely poor, and I often find the receptionists to be unhelpful and unfriendly. When I have been able to get an appointment, I have to give details to the receptionist about why I need a doctors visit, which is fine as I understand it’s to help myself receive specific care. However, I see the same nurse every time I’m there. They’re extremely helpful but I don’t understand why I have to divulge personal health information to someone who isn’t a healthcare professional especially when I see the same practitioner for different ailments? I would not recommend this GP.

    Online Consult for the practice is offline For patients like myself who suffer from mental health issues, this service is really important. I find it almost impossible to use the telephone or to ask someone else to phone on my behalf about potentially personal issues. The Online Consult Service enabled me to have independence and now that the Practice has chosen to remove this service, I'm feeling even more isolated than before

    I do not know how helpful the GP's are as it is impossible to see them! You are unable to pre-book appointments for the future as all appointments have to be made on the day at 08.00. I advised the receptionist it is practically impossible to get through on the phone and also difficult to be on the phone in a queue as I am at work. I was advised 'you can queue outside at 08.00'. How can I queue outside if I am at work??

    The doctors and receptionist do a fantastic service, it may take a while to get through but the receptionists are always extremely helpful and polite and have always been able to see or speak to a doctor.Keep up the good work in these difficult times Well Done

    I started ringing at 0800 and eventually got through at 0827(not a problem)only to be told the only appointment was 1700 at Longton Hall. At this time I hadn't been asked what my problem was.

    I have been trying to get an appointment now for over a month I call every morning at 8am, engaged, I repeatedly try and when I finally get through at 8 30am No appointments No online booking No pre booking As someone who works full time, it's incredibly hard to arrange an appointment on the day, and can't book a day off as you don't know if you will get in!!! Doctors however can prebook you an appointment and despite telling the receptionist that the doctor wants to see me and offered me to prebook, reception will not! I have some quite worrying medical concerns and I'm not sure when I will get in to see anybody about it

    It would be nice if you can get an appointment. I called to book an appointment for the following week only to be told that I have to ring up every morning to get an appointment. I think that this is shocking, what is wrong with booking appointments in advance to see your doctor!! Have a time slot in the morning say between 10-11 and then in afternoon 2-3 for people who want to ring for a same day appointment and have appointments for the rest of the day! People have to make arrangements with work and child care and think that having to call every day to see if there is an appointment is discussing more than happy to discuss further many thanks

    I've not actually been to this doctors in the 2 years I have registered. I tried to make an appointment at 8.30am only to be told that there are no appointments that day, to which I said was OK can I make an appointment for a different day. Apparently I can't book an appointment for a few days time as these are all blocked out and would have to call everyday to see if there is an appointment. This is completely unacceptable, what is wrong with booking an appointment for a few days time!! I work so would need to arrange cover which I wouldn't be able to do on the day, so I dread to think if childcare needed to be sorted. I'm shocked by this and only moved to these 2 years ago as my previous doctor ran the surgery into the ground. What is going on with the local GP practice This is 2022 and should be able to make an appointment with my doctor

    rang to make appointment with nurse, had 2 appts for same day...why couldnt this be combined. Then, 2 weeks later, was text by surgery to get me back for a further appt , when i attended the appointment details had been covered by the previous appointment. I had also been booked in for a blood pressure appt. All this could have been dine in 1 appt by 1 nurse, why all the coming and going. I work, I cant have all this time off. this is 4 appointments that could have been done in one.
