  1. Review titled Very unexpected text - not at all like the team

    Yesteday, 13 Feb, I got a text from the surgery saying "You are due a long term condition review. Can you please ... book an appointment for this. We have reduced the quantity of your medication until this is done. The quantity of your medication will be put back up once you have had your review." My last long-term condition review was on 1 March 2023, less than 12 months ago, so I found this text very heavy-handed. I don't see how reducing my meds would achieve anything but putting me at risk. I would rather have received another reminder than a threat. Needless to say I have booked a review because I understand that reducing my meds could have serious and even life-threatening consequences. Generally speaking the team at the surgery is very good, and face to face everyone is kind and responsive. I simply don't understand how that team could send out a text like this.

    My 3 years old had a cough and runny nose i tried to contact the GP for an appointment with a doctor but i’ve been redirected to the online feature, i have tried to fill the econsult questions but it didn’t work i called reception and they tried to guide me through, after a good 10 mnts they realised that it doesn’t work, she booked my child in but to another clinic in Upton Park, when i asked why as he is registered here she said that they are sending all the kids to there. With all the financial difficulties that a lot of families are facing they want you to spend more money to get somewhere while we are registered a 5 mnts walk from home, and when i said i want him to be seen here she said it is not possible and that is what it will be in the future, the appointment did not fit us and we asked for a later one she gave us the clinic number and asked us to call them ourselves. When we called them they mentioned that our son has temperature and we have not mentioned that at all it feels like they want to push a narrative to make it look viral and not to have them seen at the practice. Really disappointed.

    Rang today about a repeat prescription and all i got is you will have to wait three days when all i wanted was to speak to the in-house pharmacist not happy as ive already been waiting three days for the in-house pharmacist to call me and as for the e consult wait a waste of everybody's time it is the worst system ive ever seen answer 30/40 question's before getting to where you need to be the old choose and book was far better

    Im totally dissapointed in this E consult. What a nightmare. Im totally shocked! I suffer from long term mental health and other Chronic illnesses, and getting through to the practice has never been so ridiculous honestly, I'm actually traumatised. The GP is amazing He's not the problem but its the system I hate since they started on this horror E consult. Patience should not be subjected to this system where we have to wait couple of days just so you can speak to your GP. People with Mental and Chronic illness should have another service for them. I used to rave about this practice to everyone how amazing it was? But no more! Covid was just an excuse. We the Patient's want dignity and respect to talk to our GP in an easy way... bring back the old system please

    I have very bad experience with the practice. The doctor says they have been trying to ring me several times . I have not rings from them at all despite having a very good reception on my hone, I keep my phone in front of me all the time, I do not use my phone for anything else while I am waiting for a phone call from GP . i do not know what device the GP practice use but it is absolutely unacceptable attitude to patients. I can not go to a hospital for all occasions. GP has to work properly and help people.

    Went on the new web site and what a nightmare to you its been made so you cant see a gp and as for repeat meds i take 16 different types which by the looks of things you have to list before you can order any ont happy what was wrong with the old system or maybe im missing something could someone please show me how to use the new web site

    I have been a patient here for many yrs.I have many health issues and knowing that I have access to such good primary healthcare means the world to me.This surgery is excellent the whole process from the moment you do online consult to receiving a phone call or face app is efficient.I would like to say thank you to all the staff who work in an increasingly demanding job helping their patients to receive the care they need.

    I was waiting on call for about 1hour as i started on position 25. I got to position 3 and my call picked up and ended. It’s unexpected and disappointing on the call services. They need to get that sorted or maybe hire someone that can take those services seriously.

    I'm new patient to Tollgate Medical Centre. Start using the service a few weeks ago. From requesting GP telephone call, receiving confirmation via text message, to see the GP, all was very accurate and on time. I was seen by amazing doctor. From examination to prescription was very professional. Thank you.
