Feel very let down by the practice. Very bad communications by office staff, who give test results without knowing how to explain properly. This really should be done by a GP on occasions, where a GP is needed to put information across and explained with correct information so patient understands. Leave out important information for follow up assessment, which is then blamed for short staffing problems, when actually that information should have been given at same time as results (that weren’t given out properly). Previously lost a health form that was handed in to them and hey presto after phone calls from us to insist that it was handed in at the desk, they found it after a good hunt and it was still left on the desk days later under a pile of paperwork not handed to appropriate dept. This was before covid btw! Seriously now, this is a medical practice. It should be training and running this business properly. If the office staff are struggling (as we’ve been told) then more staff should be employed. So that is why we say no confidence We as a family rarely need to visit the practice luckily, so statistics are pretty bad.

I would like to apologies for the delay in replying, we have only recently regained control of our NHS account. Thank you for sharing this honest feedback. We apologize for not meeting your expectations. There are problems nationwide with GP staff shortages, not specific to our practice. Please be assured that the practice team is working hard to recruit and retain both clinical and non-clinical team members. This situation is slowly improving for the practice, and we hope this will continue to improve. I understand this was from some time ago and I would encourage you to please get in contact with the practice if you still have any concerns that you would like to raise, we can investigate these for you.
