    In my two years of dealing with this practice both myself and my husband have had nothing but negative experiences, from inability to get an appointment to misdiagnoses and simple dismissal we have finally decided to switch to a different surgery in the area. The final straw was contacting the surgery for severe morning sickness and being told ‘not our problem go to A&E’ - when following up with friends who were GPs they were appalled that a GP would send a pregnant woman to A&E to wait for hours rather than assessing for anti sickness medication on site. Ask my GP is a shambles, good luck getting through. Running a practice that only offers same day appointments is a joke, especially when you’re given the option of a short notice appointment or nothing, does this practice not understanding most people have jobs and need to give notice for time off, and travel. I don’t think either of us have seen the same doctor twice, and any time we’ve managed to get an appointment we’ve had to beg to be taken seriously. Reception come across as unhelpful, but honestly I think they can only offer as much help as the GPs are prepared to let them give. I can’t imagine they have an easy time dealing with so many unhappy patients a week. Overall review is 0/10 would not recommend to anyone, and from speaking to others in the area I can confirm it’s a 100% consensus.

    I have nothing but praise for all grades of staff at this surgery, both Harlaxton and Bottesford. I needed medication which was dealt with within a few hours with a response informing of action. When I ask for help the receptionists are always kind and responsive. The Nurses and Doctors despite being under pressure always make ne feel they have time to listen and refer on if needed. Thank you I appreciate your commitment to health and well-being.

    Doctor rang me this morning and i missed the call as i was at work. She asked me to call the surgery back to arrange a call. 45 minutes later at number 1 in the Que and still no answer. Will just go on thinking my bloods came back okay i guess :)

    No point using this practice if you actually want any help. Ask My GP is offline more often than it is offline. You ring up the practice and they say Ask My GP will be online the next day so to wait till then. And then to no surprise it is offline again in the next morning. I feel sorry for the amount of people that have had to battle to get an appointment with this GP even when they are ill.

    Worst surgery going. Receptionist don't answer the phone, askmygp is offline 99% of the time and on the odd occasion they are online they close your request. Went in June and no better off now in December with the same issues which affect normal day to day life. I can't go to A&E as a family member who works there has already said I'll be admitted with all of my symptoms which, as a single parent, isn't an option. Really don't understand the point of this surgery even existing if I'm honest. They're not interested in helping anyone. The doctors contradict each other. Will be going elsewhere in the new year as I'm obviously not going to get any help staying with this joke of a practice. If you're thinking of registering here, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

On occasion it is necessary for us to turn off the Ask My GP service and direct patients to call us, this is to ensure that when demand is particularly high, we can assess each patient personally to ensure their medical needs are met.     Had telephone message to make an appointment to have my legs measured for new compression socks. As my weight has not changed I do not need to be measured. (lymphodema nurse skegness hospital) I rang and told the receptionist do not need measuring give the appointment to someone who is ill as I do not trust the welby practice as far as I could throw them headwind in a Gale. Yes that is harsh but as I get 2 pairs of socks every 6 months and they are always the same I have had different sizes and to get black is like asking for the seventh wonder of the world. The lady in boots is brill she said today there is 4 parts to my sock and last time some parts was black and some beige on the same sock. I requested the prescription last friday had phone call monday saying beige got it sorted. Rang today (thursday) about being measured so a week and still no prescrition. There used to be 5 Doctors at the old practice now we lucky if there is 1. I do wonder if this will ever get sorted as it is the same every 6 months the only thing I would recommend is the Welby group emigrate

Please can I suggest that you contact your registered practice direct as I am unable to address your concerns as you are not registered with us.
