    I had a telephone call following a blood test. The GP was caring, gave detailed, thorough advice, and took my concerns on board. I was not rushed - I was given the time I needed.

    I approached The Ridgeway Surgery for a high BP issue. From the point of obtaining an appointment on Patches, to the actual in person meeting with the Doctor and diagnosis and subsequent treatment thereof was extremely professional, smooth and hassle free. This has been aided by future follow up visits to monitor the condition for full recovery. Truly appreciate the services of the Doctor and the supporting staff of the Surgery.

    I went online to Patches first thing when it opened. Within 10 minutes I got a call back from a receptionist who got me an appointment the same day.

    I have recently 1. On several occasions tried to go on the patches system unsuccessfully. 2. Tried ringing the surgery with limited response. 3. Most recently visited the surgery to make an appointment to make an appointment to see a doctor to discuss my health concerns. The doctor who did see could not provide the tests I wanted, personally went into the Office to make an appointment for me to see a doctor that week, gave me an appointment the same. When I did turn up for the appointment it had not been registered or recorded and I was unable to see anybody other than the receptionist who tried to offer me another two weeks later when I cannot be available. This is very frustrating and though I've been with the surgery for about 40years I'm sorry to say that the service at his surgery has deteriorated considerably that I am seriously thinking of leaving it and moving elsewhere.

We are conscious that some patients try to use the PATCHS system when it is closed and we are looking at how we can maximise the time that PATCHS is open.     Just wanted to thank the reception/call handling staff and both the doctors who helped me this week. I was in tremendous pain following a fall that left me with a fractured rib, and I was desperate for help. I had been diagnosed by a hospital visit and a CT scan, and although the treatment was good and they did give me painkillers on discharge,my discomfort just got worse and worse .I had 2 telephone conversations with the doctors who called me back following my calls to reception and I got the pain relief I needed prescribed and collected on the same day. I am much more comfortable now and on the mend. Apologies for not remembering the doctor’s names, they were both excellent but I was so distracted with my problem. Thank you again for helping me.

    I been with the practice since 2004. I just wanted to take the time to show my appreciation. In that time I have had the best care possible, and despite the horrendous period of covid, it did not change the dynamics of the Ridgeway team. I have always been treated with kindness and empathy. The staff team is amazing this includes receptionist, nurse, and GPs. It is clear that they actually care. Appointment are prompt information is passed on quickly. It feels almost like they have been trained to be the best. In all my life my experience of being with a Gp practice. It is unusual to find such efficiency, friendliness, the GP are knowledgeable and always want to help. I hardly feel rushed at appointments, when I tell others of my experiences they find it rather strange, due to their own experiences with their practice. This is so say thank you for the patience and understanding over the years. My one request is despite the current state of the NHS please never change, continue to employ a staff team that will not let down your reputation. After all as humans we all want to be treated kindly. Thank you.

    good face to face time with a very pleasant medic who had time and patience to find out what was wrong, ask questions and do tests whilst explaining why in a conversational manner. So much better than a quick phone call. Luckily the receptionist recognised I needed to speak to someone that day and not in 3 weeks time

    I called around 8.30 in the morning, as had recently a blood test. My results have been received but non of the clinical staff have updated me with my results or changed my medication dose.
