  1. Review titled Waste of time

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by Richard O'Connor - Posted on 07 December 2023

Waited 2-3 weeks for an appointment only to be told on arrival that the doctor rung in poorly must have had a brief ring to my phone not even allowing it to connect. Need to speak about other issues but now got a telephone appointment when the bmc has stated that telephone appointments are not good for both parties. On that note I am disgusted with the service I have received (not that I use them every week)

  2. Review titled Poor communication

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Usually have great experiences with the doctors, nurses and receptionists however I do find they lack decent communication. A great example was today when I turned up to have my child’s vaccine however it had been cancelled and moved to next week, no one had been in touch to let me know so I turned up to my appointment at a great inconvenience. The same had been arranged for my other child’s appointment again with no communication. I have had communication issues in the past too where medication has been prescribed to a pharmacy but I’ve not been told even though they have my correct contact details.

  3. Review titled Cancelled my appointment for no reason

Rated 1 star out of 5

It's almost impossible to make an appointment. Phone line appears dead. I see a different doctor everytime I am able to make a appointment. None of them know my medical history and all seem very clueless with most issues and refer to Google for answers. For my mental health I was simply told to call Minds Matter after waiting two weeks to speak to a doctor. My last appointment which I had the physically visit the practice to make, was cancelled by text a week later for no reason and was told to re arrange it. Again, that was for a mental health issue. With all the suicides recently, you'd think they'd be a bit more professional and helpful... Not at all... the management of this practice this needs seriously looking at and re staffing and the phone service needs sorting. It's s Joke!! and causing patients more stress!

  4. Review titled Shambles

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Been with this practice since 1970's what a mess now. No doctor appointments like ever, how can you express depression, heart and lung probs over phone two weeks later. In past 3 years never been sent appointment for long standing heart issues, go to a&e they tell you.

  5. Review titled Amazing nursing team

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 March 2023

I've had various specialist nurse support in the past few years and every one of them has been incredible. They've really property listened, taken the time it needed to talk about things, and often gone over and above the bare minimum. It may be hard to get through to doctors (which is the same everywhere now sadly!) But I have absolute faith in the nursing team and can't thank them enough.

  6. Review titled Incredibly difficult to contact!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Julia Crabtree - Posted on 02 February 2023

I have been with a few practices throughout my life and Richmond Hill is the worst practice I have ever experienced in terms of being able to telephone and get through to someone. Phone lines are often 'busy'! When they are not busy, you are in position 6+ in the 'queue'. I have frequently given up the call and driven to the practice itself so request an appointment/get results/change address. The staff themselves are lovely but management is obviously lacking.

  7. Review titled Worst customer service ever…..can’t book an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Richard Alexander Dawson - Posted on 23 February 2023

The staff simply do not care. You can’t get through to speak to anyone. They say you have to call at 8am for an emergency appointment but when you do it’s constantly an engaged tone……the queue system clearly isn’t turned on as they don’t want you to call them. When you do see a doctor and have a urine test or blood test they never call you with the results or let you know what you should do next. Virtually impossible to get any sort of appointment ever. Really, really poor service

  8. Review titled Jammed Phone Lines, Don't Bother

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 December 2022

I have tried to call this surgery 20 times. Got kicked off the line every time. Its impossible to have an engaged tone all day everyday. This surgery used to be better 20 years ago when I was a child. Get a grip Richmond Hill.

  9. Review titled No none phone appointments go to urgent care.

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by Steve M - Posted on 21 June 2022

I have been a patient at this practice since the mid seventies and sad to watch the decline to the point that you cannot book a none phone appointment. No discussion just told if I want to see a doctor go to urgent care to have my chest listened to because they cant do this over the phone. ( Obvious ) Used to be the best Doctors in the area now just refer you to urgent care. I was trying to explain but they were not interested.
