The doctor requests a further appointment to be booked. Bookings are taken up to two weeks but there are no appointments available. Fully booked. How is someone who works supposed to sit on a phone trying to get an appointment. The NHS website states the practice is taking on new patients! Really! After 32 years it’s time to find a new clinic!

  2. Review titled Excellent receptionist assistance today

Rated 5 stars out of 5

23.2.23 after 6 hours waiting in A&E with my 82 yr old Dad we arrived home early hours at 2.30am. We opened the medication box to find 2 days worth of tablets missing. At 10.30am after spending 1&1/2 hours on hold trying to contact A&E I was asked if i wanted to bring them back in to resolve the matter but i didn't fancy a wait... So I rang the Bentley surgery and explained the situation to the receptionist, she sent a text message so we could upload some information and the Doctor sent the prescription to our designated Pharmacist for us to collect. Trudy was amazingly helpful so, a massive Thank You goes to you Trudy!

  5. Review titled Rude arrogant receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

Rang for emergency appointment was told it’d be 10 days away reception was so rude didn’t ask what was problem receptionist told I needed an emergency appointment and was told to go A&E (we are told not to attend A&E if it the GP can sort it) I told her this she then slammed the phone down after very rudely telling me to change my GP who I’ve had all my life but after this experience I will be once. Hope she is is rude to other patients and she gets the sack as if I spoke to someone the way she did I would definitely loose my job

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear of your experience and that our staff did not meet the standard that we strive for. I would be happy to discuss this with you in greater detail so that I can discuss your feedback with the appropriate member of the reception team. Please feel free to contact me at the surgery by telephone via our practice email. Jane Johns Practice Manager

  6. Review titled 5* Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

In times like this a GP practice can only work with what resources they have available to themselves. It isn’t easy to make something out of nothing and they can’t magic an appointment. So prior reviews, perhaps need to be more away of this. However I’ve found they are fantastically empathetic, genuine and incredibly person centred. Which you can’t ask for more than that. Everything possible is done to help, at all costs. And each situation is treated individually with care and attention. If your looking for a GP practice where you are not just a number in many. This is the one for you. With a fantastic Admin support team, and from the GP’s I’ve had involvement with. You will be well looked after. Myself and my son give great thanks. Many people are quick to critique others but with such a difficult job, in difficult times. The staff they have are top class.

  7. Review titled lovely nurse

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I wanted to review my visit as I feel everyone is so quick to criticise but not praise. I came for a smear - never a pleasant thought. The nurse who I am not allowed to name on the feedback site was kind, caring, made me feel like she had all the time in the world. She ensured the dignity screen was in the right place, I had a seat to put my clothes and bag on, she even placed my feet in a position so I would feel less uncomfortable, then tissues for afterwards and overall made it a relaxed, non-threatening situation. I know all of the above is her job but I think we forgot sometimes how nice it must be to receive some positive feedback after what we have all experienced in the last few years. You are a lovely nurse - be proud
