  2. Review titled Lack of compassion and management

    by oscarer54 - Posted on 19 May 2023

If you look at posts from years ago, it wasn’t a good surgery before covid 19- you can imagine how great it is now! There are NO appointments anymore, all visits are by lottery, call at 8:30 a hundred times and hope for the best. I could go on but there’s no point, it will never improve. It’ll be 2035 and I think they will still be blaming covid. They need a person to come in that has compassion AND can manage. From what I can see for the last 5 years there has been zero compassion and zero management skill.

Dear Patient, I am grateful to you for taking the time to review your experience of the practice and I am sorry that you were not entirely satisfied with your experience. We do have many appointments with health care professionals including doctors, nurses, clinical pharmacists and health and social care assistants and we our amongst the highest performing practices in the Borough and North West London from an appointment access perspective. However, we do operate a doctor led triage system which means that incoming requests for a doctor contact are reviewed by a doctor who then makes a recommendation on an appropriate outcome. In the GP patient survey of July 2022, 83% of patients said that it was easy to get through on the phone compared to 53% nationally. 79% said that their experience of making an appointment was good compared to 56% nationally and 97% said that the health care professional they saw or spoke to was good at treating them with care and concern during their last general practice appointment compared to 83% nationally. Myself and the practice manager are grateful to you for your comments and we would appreciate it if you would like to put yourself forward to join our patient participation group so that you can openly offer your feedback and thereby contribute to practice development. Dr Rachael Garner, GP Principal.

  3. Review titled Rude and unhelpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have effectively lost my hearing. I can’t work properly as I can’t hear. The GP would not speak to me as the rude receptionist told me ‘nurses deal with that’. Off to another surgery asap.
