    Had a problem of a quite important nature, and has been dealt with in a fantastic way so far, far beyond my expectations from the assistant Practise Manager who went above and beyond to correct the matter - still await the final response to something that can't be avoided .. but keep up the great work :) but very happy patient

    A small mistake with my repeat prescription had the receptionist going out of her way, on a busy day, to correct it. A day later I had confirmation by phone that everything had gone through. Excellent service..

    I came in for my emergency appointment. 12.55 The girl at the desk to told me to go and sit down the dr will be with u soon. Sat there for 20 minutes. I then went to the desk to ask how long the dr would be. To be told very abruptly that my appointment wasn't here. And then being told by the same person can u direct this woman to irlam clinic as I don't live here. I am at fault for not reading my text properly. But to be clerk in and told to wait the dr will see u soon. The 2 receptionist never apologised just carried on looking at there computer. They could of said u got wrong place at first. But no just rudeness. No wonder receptionist have a bad name. I have been in that practice for 50 years and I have never come across rudeness like it. I then went irlam clinic to apologise for not attending. The receptionist was so lovely.

    1 female nurse and 1 female doctor, have gone the extra mile and invested time to listen to me and work to help me, both are consummate professionals and have a wonderful warm compassionate manner I am truly grateful to them both and highly recommend them, they have made a massive positive improvement to my health and well being which is improving my life greatly

    My partner rang in to book us both vaccinations for a upcoming holiday and was told to phone back a month before the holiday. My partner rang back and was told by the receptionist that the practice wasn't carrying out travel vaccinations anymore and then stuttered and said they haven't any in stock and was told that we would have to find somewhere else that does them. We then found a pharmacy in Eccles that would vaccinate us and it cost £220 for the three vaccinations each. I have never had to pay for travel vaccines and speaking to people, neither have them.

    Thank you for your feedback. Some travel vaccines like Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Polio (combined vaccine), Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Cholera are offered free of charge because they protect against diseases that are potentially serious and can be easily brought into the country, posing a public health risk. Other vaccines such as those for yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, rabies, and tick-borne encephalitis, are not available for free on the NHS and must be paid for privately. The Practice does not stock these vaccines. These vaccines are usually needed for travel to specific regions or for activities that increase the risk of exposure to certain diseases. I would like to address the incident with the team to work towards full patient satisfaction.     I attended on 9/11/23 because the Pharmacist was not happy with my breathing. I received a call some time later with an appointment for much later that day. My breathing became worse (I am asthmatic) and I returned to the Doctors and asked if I would be seen sooner at Eccles. The young lady seeing my increased distress arranged for a Doctor to see me immediately. I received treatment via a nebuliser was cared for constantly. Checked by the Doctor again. In addition I had a chest infection. Left armed with all the necessary medication and able to breathe a little more easier. I couldn’t have had better treatment. Thank you

It's reassuring to know that the young lady recognized your distress and arranged for you to be seen by a doctor immediately.     So I have really bad health anxiety that’s gone on years . Past 3 weeks I have had to visit the practise twice with the same issue a the doctor that dealt with me is by far the best doctor I have had ever. She was so patient and understanding and made sure she explained everything an why.she listened and really made me comfortable in an environment that freaks me out. She has gone the extra mile to reassure me about upcoming tests and also provided guidance on how to manage my symptoms. Really really happy.

    I visited the surgery on Monday morning and explained to the receptionist my reason to see a doctor. She completed the initial questionnaire and advised me that the case would be reviewed by a doctor and they would advise me of the outcome. An hour later I was given a same day appointment to see a doctor. The whole experience was seamless and I was so thankful for the great service.

    My husband helped me fill in the form due to eyesight problems. I got a same day appointment, very experienced doctor who did a thorough examination and fully explained current medical issues.i was very impressed
