  1. Review titled Lightning-Fast Adjustments to My Prescription!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Kamal Uddin - Posted on 30 November 2023

As a patient, I find it incredibly helpful to be clear about the issue at hand, detailing what I've tried so far and expressing my expectations from the GP. This proactive approach not only aids in effective communication but also empowers our GPs to efficiently manage our queries. I recently reached out to the practice regarding a prescription, and I needed a modification shortly after. Surprisingly, the practice addressed my request within a couple of hours, and I even received a prompt text notification confirming the adjustment. Remarkably efficient service!

A super practice. Everyone from reception to GP were helpful and polite. Appointments were made promptly and kept to time. Good text and telephone interaction and a very professional team. We feel lucky to have them as our local practice.

  3. Review titled Terrible reception staff

Rated 2 stars out of 5

After handing in a post operative referral letter from a London hospital for a gp/nurse to check and redress my surgery wound after 48-72 hrs I was told I would need to wait for a cancellation and it could be some time. What? Until the dressing moulds and festers? Eventually they sent me to a different gp surgery and gave me all my paperwork back, even though I'm registered with them so I assume they should have kept it for their records. Even though my experience with the doctors has been fine, I have no faith whatsoever in the gatekeeper reception staff. Terrible. And this is not my only bad experience. There just isn't enough room to write about the others.

  4. Review titled Nope

Just save yourself the trouble and don't. They don't care about the patients. I've been trying to get an urgent appointment since last week since the regular appointments are 4 weeks away, but nothing, always some excuse.

  5. Review titled Below Average

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had been with this Practice for over 10 years and for much of that time the service was good and early on I had a very attentive and very pro-active GP. However, she left and within the last 4 years there was a change of GP plus Covid, etc and the service levels went rather bad and stayed poor even after Covid restrictions had long lifted. Its only recently that I have moved home and GP and I have had a chance to compare service levels with a very well run GP Practice and feel obliged to post some observations. Its extremely difficult to get an appointment at Limehouse Practice and I just gave up and relied on private GP's when I needed them. Luckily now I have a great NHS GP again (different Practice) and have actually had a couple of health problems picked up by my new, very attentive, GP which Limehouse Practice seemed completely oblivious to.

  6. Review titled Pure headache

The GP's attitude towards his patients is exremely condescending. It is very much visible that he is only trying to avoid working. Even with severe issues he tried to avoid seeing the patient and send to the emergency, whereas it was solved by prescribing some medication. The only way to get this GP to help you is to discuss and argue. Nothing is straight forward with this doctor. This type of practice is unacceptable and the surgery and the doctor should be reviewed.
