  1. Review titled Great Practice and staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by julie smith - Posted on 15 April 2024

I managed to get an appointment for a few days later regarding an ongoing infection i have. The member of staff who i was dealing with was wonderful, very polite and considerate and very much was trying to deal with my needs. I am in this industry so understand how difficult it is within the surgery to please everybody. I was happy with all the information and signposting i was given. I have been in this surgery for 10 years now and have never had any problems. Keep up the good work and thank you.

  2. Review titled Unprofessional they have a duty of care

Rated 1 star out of 5

Aim moving to a new Doctors and waiting for the registration to complete, in the meantime I need care and due a B12 top up injection. I called on Monday told no appointments available also nothing going forward ( quite clear this because i have given the practice a poor review) the receptionist was polite and could only say call when the nurse was in Wednesday 2 hrs trying to get through as they r nocking my calls ! Doctors have a duty of care and maintain treatment even if u have made a complaint about their back office my complaint was not about the Doctors but a member of staff who tried calling me after the review continually and leaving voicemails saying its regarding your recent ECG at home device !! To distress a patient like that is completely unacceptable and in the meantime I have to wait for the injection which effects other treatment. Stay Clear of the Place

  3. Review titled GP hung up on me mid-sentence during telephone appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 January 2024

I booked a telephone appointment with a GP and after 5 minutes they abruptly hung up on me mid-sentence, before resolving the issue, or giving me a chance to explain. I was not being rude to the gp - but was just asking questions about my ongoing medication. I thought it may have been a technical issue, so contacted the reception (who were very helpful and professional) and left a note for the gp to call me back - as my questions had not been answered - but they never did. I appreciate that everyone has bad days and they may have been busy - but I found this very disrespectful and upsetting. This makes me feel very anxious and reluctant to reach out to the gp practice if I need help in the future.

  5. Review titled Shocking attitude from the reception staff and doctors

Rated 1 star out of 5

Reception staff are judgemental, unprofessional and unsupportive. They behave most of the time like patients get in their way and take patronising tone when they're unclear on patients' needs, lecturing them on what they consider appropriate terminology. Doctors give incomplete advice on how to take the medication they prescribe, make inappropriate comments or deliver message about a patient's health insensitively and give incorrect advice on care management (e.g. how test results would be communicated). They all disregard mental health needs of patients and are unapathetic.
