Dreadful, finally got a doctors appointment face to face and asked for a later appointment due to work not liking having time off, doctors surgery final got in touch and said they could do 3:30 on Thursday I asked if they could do later they said 3:50 was the best they can do. I turned up on Thursday after rushing home from work to be told it was 3 weeks on Thursday at 3:50 not the Thursday I turned up on because they didn’t mention the date. Country is broken working and trying to see the doctors simply doesn’t work, why am I taxed NI when the system is so broke.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have seen lots of changes including new doctors, new receptions and a new nurse. The reception staff currently working at this surgery are always pleasant, caring and extremely helpful. If there is a problem with prescriptions or medication the reception staff always resolve the problem. They always do there best to accommodate your request. My mom who is in her eighties has been quite poorly over the last couple of months. She has been very well looked after, receiving both face to face and phone consultations. Recently I was given a phone consultation and the doctor was extremely professional and also caring, listening and not rushing the call. Every doctor I have seen at the surgery have been the same. The practice nurse always goes above and beyond to help in any way she can. Recently I attended an appointment with my parents who are both in their eighties. She made them so relaxed and was so caring and thorough ensuring they were well looked after. Any appointment I have had with the practice nurse have always been a positive experience. I can honestly say that the Firs Surgery have always looked after myself and all of my family. It’s nice to go into a doctors surgery and be welcomed with a smile from the receptionists who always do the best they can to help. So I’d like to say “Thank You” to everyone at The Firs Surgery.
