  1. Review titled Unexceptable

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Very unhappy and disheartened about my trip to the surgery today . Went to collect a prescription for my husband who is going through cancer treatment . Was given something that is of completely no use to him and so i took it back to be told that they did not have what he needed and this was a substitute . I know that they do not always have everything in stock but why give him something for a completely different use . I handed it back in thinking that maybe this could ne reused for someone else as i hadnt opened it to be abruptly told ( well we will have to put it in the bin then wont we) . We have been shown mo compassion in a already very difficult time and very sorry to say that everytime i have been to the surgery or on the phone i have been treated with rudeness and disrespect and this is very much not needed .

  2. Review titled Extremely Badly Managed Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

The website say they are patient focused - that couldn't be further from the truth. Having read all the reviews left before mine it proves that most people are utterly fed up with the way things are being managed within this practice. I can't count how many times I have stood in the queue at Boots for my mother's prescription to be told it hasn't been sent down from the surgery! I can't count how many times I have explained that I would like a doctor to actually see my elderly mother - to then be told my mother got a telephone call instead - She's deaf, she can't hear them - it's on her notes for goodness sake! Utterly useless. They have given me more stress and high blood pressure than anything else! Management - start listening to your patients - we're not horrible angry people - we're people who need some medical advice and are quite often scared because of ill health. Your system of looking after us isn't working. You're making us all ill.

  3. Review titled dreadful practice

It cannot be acceptable to be undergoing treatment/help for an ongoing condition and to have to fight to see my GP every time I need to, even when twice, the GP has asked me to make a follow up appointment. I've been told it will be an 8 week wait for receive a phone call. I've since done an e-consult, and the result was for me to either have physio, which I've already done for 6 months, or have an injection so I've now got to go through the whole process again to ask for an injection, when the GP said during my last actual appointment to make a follow up appointment so that he could give me the injection if necessary. In the mean time I'm filling myself up with pills to cope with my condition. At one point when I visited the surgery to ask for an appointment the receptionist offered to give me the results of my x-ray there and then in the foyer of the surgery. I wish with all my heart the Eagle House Practice hadn't combined with the others. I have never know such poor patient care, and you are advertising to take on more patients. How about you look after the ones you already have.

  4. Review titled wait on phone not acceptable

Rated 1 star out of 5

The initial answering service seemed to actively want me to go away and find a solution elsewhere. I have now waited 36 minutes and still not at the top of the queue.

  5. Review titled Unacceptable service provider

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have just spent over an hour on hold, listening to an automated message telling me to stay on the line to make a booking. Funnily answered and told that appointments are released on a Monday and to call back then. This is totally unacceptable, as I work in a school I cannot make a call during my working day. I have tried e_consult and never receive a response. The practice should be utterly ashamed with the lack of clinical provision offered!
