    Today, 25/4/24 I arrived for my appointment only to be told I had cancelled it when I knew I hadn't. Instead of fitting me in it was suggested I fill in another klinik form to arrange another appointment. I had already been waiting 3-4 weeks for this appointment and I still have my medical problem. My husband who is also my carer suggested that the original form be re-submitted which she did. I have eventually been given another appointment for next week. I am a 76 year old disabled lady who is very disappointed with the Adams practice as it used to be a good service. Recent issues include being held on the line waiting to speak to someone. Being told you are number 1 in the queue and still being number 1 in the queue an hour later, at which point I hung up.

    A big thankyou to all the staff at the Hamworthy practice for my recent treatment and referral to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital for further treatment.This has resulted in my problem being caught at a very early stage.I could not have asked for quicker or better treatment from this surgery.

    I have had nothing but positive experiences with this surgery & yesterdays added to this. My teenage son is experiencing chronic mental health and having telephoned the surgery explaining the situation to a truly empathetic, supportive receptionist I received a call back within the hour from a specialist and was able discuss the presenting issue and genuine support is now in place due to the amazing, time efficient service that was received.

    The telephone system is very poor. Do not attempt to ring if you have less than 30 minutes to spare. Reception/administration is very poor.

    I appreciate the practice GP's are stretched however I had an appointment this morning by phone and I didn't receive the call in the timeframe provided. This is an issue for me as I am self-employed and unable to accept calls when I am with a client which means I have lost income. It would have been really helpful if they could send a text to reschedule. I tried to call but only got a message to say they were unable to accept calls then it hung up.

    I have heard various disparaging tales regarding service but in honesty having plucked up courage to make an appointment I am very satisfied. My ailment was not urgent so the 10 day wait was ok and on arrival well before my appointed time I was seen promptly and received efficient, friendly and positive treatment. I am extremely satisfied.

    After filling in klinik form last Friday for my 81yr mother. Who was suffering with a eye infection. We did not receive anything back untill Monday. Telling her to visit a chemist. I feel this treatment was not satisfactory. For a 81yr old to be told to do this. When a simple prescription for eye drops would have cured the problem. Instead of having to wait till this Thursday when someone was able to drive her there.

    Used the online consultation service to book a telephone consultation on 15th July 2022 to be told that i would be contacted in 2 days. I didnt receive a telephone call just a text stating that next available slot was the 26th July 2022 , Really? 11 days !! Decided to call in at the surgery to explain that i couldnt possibly wait that long as i was very unwell. A very rude receptionist huffed and puffed and said that she would try to get me an earlier appointment but i later received a text saying that the 26th July was the earliest. I went home and my condition deteriorated so i phoned 111 and they insisted that they would have to send an ambulance to me. I ended up in Poole Hospital and will have to go back in tomorrow I think the treatment i received by the Adam Practice was disgusting, what do all the doctors up there do all day. ? I think using Covid as an excuse is wearing a bit thin by now. The Adam Practice used to be friendly surgery when you could actually see a real doctor face to face usually within a couple of days Sadly the level of service supplied by this surgery has very badly deteriorated I welcome any response to my complaint.
