    Too long to wait for poor service, I've never had to sit for an hour past my appointment time before in any surgery but that's what happened. When I was finally called in i discovered that the extended appointment i asked for when booked was a normal time one. After a short spell in hospital it would have been nice to have more time due to the issues I'm having with my health and also because of documentation that I need. As soon as I am able I'm switching surgeries and never want to go back to Talbot Medical Centre. Talbot Pharmacy however which is in the same building are very good and always helpful.

    Another first class service from receptionist to GP. Rang the surgery with a problem and spoke to receptionist, within fifteen minutes the GP rang me back.

    Needed to have discussion re my tablets following heart related operations. Telephone interview arranged with receptionist in a warm, efficient and lighthearted way. Doctor phoned as agreed: knowledgeable, informed and covered all the areas I needed to discuss, including ensuring I understood the treatment I had received. Again warm and friendly leaving us reassured about the treatment I was receiving. Always, over 40 years, had excellent medical attention from the Practice including communication with hospital consultants when necessary.

    I needed treatment for an ongoing condition that flares up every few years. It is an unusual medical issue that multiple GPs and consultants cannot fathom. I expected to struggle to get an appointment as there is such a huge demand on services. I spoke to 111 and they arranged a call back from my GP surgery at a time that fitted with my work schedule. It was sorted out quickly on the phone by the advanced nurse practitioner, with an option of a face to face appointment if needed (not needed as I can self manage if I have medication). Brilliant service - thank you 111 and the surgery.

  5. Review titled appalling appointment system. Admin no help at all

    Taken ill at RBH last Friday 29 th July. advise to see a GP. asap.Admin says no appointments for months ! advice. if I fall over. dial 111 ! just checked. no appointments until end September. despite how many GPs registered here ? taking up Ambulance service for the sake of a 10 minute appointment. not acceptable.
