    Kind and caring staff! At Swanscombe Health Centre and Elemdene Surgery the staff go above and beyond for me and my daughter. My daughter has recently been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor and since day one of needing the GPs help, they have always been there for us. Whether it's with booking appointments or chasing referrals. One lady in particular is very understanding and listens each time. I have been under this surgery for many many years now and I am proud of our surgeries. Recently at Swanscombe a member of staff has sorted several referrals for my daughter and will always email me with an update, its the personal touches I love!

    We got in contact for a medication letter to take on holiday and it was written out straight away.Staff member was very helpful and informative and done a great job.

    Goverment webite quotes the following... "Patients will no longer have to call back another day to book an appointment and will be informed of the procedure for handling their request the moment they contact their practice" This is not my experience, receptionist telling me to call back as no appointments. The usual poor system set up with this practice.

    Unfortunately I found this GP to be extremely poor customer service. 1. E consults are only available between 3.30 and 4. What about those who are working? 2. Surgery in the middle of a school grounds, good luck if you get an appointment around 3pm. Took 30 mins to get out of the car park. 3. 28 days to look at a private insurance form that took no longer than 5 minutes to complete, compared to other surgeries which I found to be around 2 weeks (it's also chargeable per page and more expensive than others). 4. Had a car accident and asked for pain killers and was given a face to face appointment 10 days laters where I wasn't even examined but just given the prescription after talking for 2 mins.

    If they ever make a series for worst gp service in the country, this place is an ideal candidate, you can barely get through to reception then once you do get through after waiting what seems an eternity, you literally get told all the time that there is no appointments available

    You can’t get in touch with anyone, when you call after 30 minutes waiting the receptionist is rude an unhelpful.they can send you see a doctor to any of their surgeries although you live 5 minutes walk from one of them. The doctor is not compassionate about your symptoms and tells you this is the procedure and wants to prescribe a lifetime of medication instead of finding the source.

    For the third time in a couple of months my appointment has been moved. Due to “unforeseen circumstances”. You ask for an appointment, you can have one in a weeks time. A week later. Your appointment has been moved due to unforeseen circumstances. Two weeks after you requested the appointment. No answer on the phones and no support for mental health. They left me on the phone telling me my infection “didnt sound like an infection” & they would call me back in a week. I then ended up in hospital unwell with the infection and they still cancelled my follow up appointment. Its a joke of a surgery , quite honestly.

    Unhelpful in every way when my mum finally got through to the receptionist she was told she need to email to get a repeat prescription when I tried to help with the email it sent you to Lloyds pharmacy who are many occasions have been unable to do prescriptions and still struggling to try and help my mum who is in extreme pain very unhappy not to mention numerous times that they can’t do things up at the doctor surgery

    Had a minor procedure 2 weeks ago which required stitches. Booked the appointment to have them removed on my way out & was given a card by the receptionist with the date & time. Turned up today for the appointment only to be told there was nothing booked. Surely it can’t be that hard to get a basic task like booking an appointment correctly? If there was an alternative surgery I would leave this one but they now own / operate all the surgeries in the area so have no choice but to stay.

    My Doctor was so reassuring. I haven't been to a doctor since pre covid. I was very anxious. The receptionist was very warm and polite. The doctor called me in on time. She dealt with all of my issues very efficiently and she was calm and very caring. Highly recommend 5 star service
