   After my last review of having issues with blood test appointments yet again I have problems! I was supposed to be contacted by the surgery to book an appt for medically necessary regular blood tests and this is not being done in a timely manner. I was 2 weeks late with my last test due to not being contacted and this test I am 1 month overdue. I booked my own appt online in the end due to the appt booked for me being very late, to be rung this morning and told that I couldn’t have the appt as it was for blood pressure. I advised the receptionist that I specifically booked a blood Test appt and actually screenshot the page when I booked it to be basically called a liar. I would rather travel 2.5hrs to my previous doctors surgery than come to Swanage medical practice if I could.

   I realised I didn’t have enough medication to cover an extended trip abroad, departing in a few hours. The situation was complicated by my prescription being drawn up abroad. The receptionist, clinical adviser, prescribing doctor and pharmacist sorted it all within 3 hours and I was able to travel with a full load of meds. Great service! Thanks!
