Poor communication, incompetence, disappearing letters and more. Following ongoing symptoms post stroke I was referred urgently beginning of November 23 to Salford neurology but through the practice incompetence the referral has been rejected multiple times of which I was never notified that I had to chase and follow up myself impressing how important my problem is another referral was sent and when I followed that up was told as of today it will be 50 weeks for an appointment.

Great practice. Helped my mum following her stroke. We’re very kind and went above and beyond to help her. The GP was patient and really friendly and the team are doing their best despite the current pressures on the nhs.

I put a request on amgp on Tuesday morning and still hadn't received a reply today (Thursday). I tried to ring the surgery this morning and was number 3 in the queue I was on hold for 30 minutes and was cut off. I put another request on this morning and this was not replied to. Had to go down on my dinner to be told that the request is awaiting triage from a GP who is on annual leave and will only be back next week! This is not how a triage system is supposed to work! Some of the Information I requested could have been dealt with by the reception team. I was not made aware of this on my request or contacted to see if I would speak to another GP which I quite happily would of done. Had to request myself that it is passed to another GP. The amgp system is supposed to make things easier for a patient!
