They have been helping me with the renewal of my 85 year old mother’s blue badge. All along I have been dealt with professionally, with empathy and clear instructions. The receptionist specifically helped keep me at ease and gave me clear advice which was the same with her GP

I requested a GP face to face appointment and kind receptionist informed that only GP give them. 10 mins later I got text message for appointment for 14/10/23 at another practice. I rang up surgery and was told message did not come from them. I went back to practice and showed receptionist who checked system and confirmed no appointment are but later said there was one booked and I should go (Saturday 14/10/2023) When attended appointment on mentioned practice....#No appointment booked. This has happened now twice.

I love the way doctors respond to calling patients and ask more questions about the situation, opinions and referral.

I had not received my test results from the hospital. I contacted St David’s Practice and straight away they contacted the hospital and a couple of hours later all the results and the specialist’s reports came through

Spoke to a very helpful receptionist asking for a Nurse appointment, was given an appointment for the following day. 2 more Nurse appointments were made within a week. Wonderful nurses, very sympathetic with my symptoms and worries and put me at ease before leaving the surgery.

Often when I phone either of their two numbers I get a recorded message repeated several times over about things I know already about opening hours, Covid symptoms, Yellow fever and more. When the message stops nobody answers it for at least a minute. I keep getting text messages about flu, Covid vaccinations and requests to come for diabetic eye tests am told to attend for them. As I have mobility problems and can't walk far, I will need a home visit for injections and the doctors know this from my records. I will need patient transport for the eye tests which has been cancelled twice already due to my non attendance as presumably this must be done in the surgery. There should be a separate phone number on the website for patient transport requests.

Reception, nurses and GPs have taken a great care of my son and myself. I always get response following the new Practice sistem by email following by gp phone call appointment.

The last appointment I had was for my daughter to have a vaccination, but on a normal basis I find experiences with this practice very negative, I never get to speak to my GP, only locums, which means theres never continously care plan in place. This is less then ideal, especially when my daughter has a allergy and is under testing for cealics disease and is under 2 different doctors at hospitals for it. Despite this everytime I call for my daughter when she is sick, and state her allergy, the doctors always say, "who told you shes allergic to wheat" my response is always the specialist consultant and dietition shes under, as well the severe reactions she has everytime she has wheat, barley or rye. I have to wait between 48 to 72 hours for an emergency appointment for my 3 year old since she was 2, and have been told by the receptist multiple times that the quickest way to be seen is by going to a walk-in or A&E, which is obviously not what I want to hear when I want to speak to my GP, when I finally get a appointment most the time the doctors turn around and ask me, what do I want them to do, which doesn't ever help me because I need them to do their jobs and doctor instead of ask me, the mother or the patient Ive actively avoid calling or going to the doctors, and after everytime I do need to contact them, I do feel the need to change practice, which isnt ideal when apperently St davids has rating doctors in the area but the practice itself is only 1 star, which I fully understand.

Thank you St Davids for all the hard-work. Yesterday I was at the consultation, Dr. helped me a lot, examined me and referred me for further tests.

It's very satisfying to have doctor appointments twice a day. The person answering the phone at the front desk is also very nice
