On Thursday 18th May at 0840 I rang Silton Surgery. My call was answered after two rings by a very cheerful lady who wished me a good morning and asked what she could do to help. An appointment with a doctor please. “Would 0950 suit you?” She asked. The doctor met me in the waiting room at 0955. This is exemplary service and what all GP surgeries should aspire to.

Unfortunately after a few disappointing greetings from the reception team and unprofessional mannerism from them I cannot recommend this surgery. Due to them feeling they can make medical decisions and saying it can wait and us ending up in hospital later that day and being told it would not have been as bad if we had been seen by the doctor earlier in the day which then resulted in several overnight stays in hospital.

Always feel cared for and always helpful. Very friendly with a professional touch. The phone is always answered and rarely wait.
