I requested a fit note over a month ago using the e-consult service, a correct note still hasn’t been issued. The first note I was issued with had incorrect dates and was a sick note instead of a fit note, also issued for collection at another surgery I don’t use. Have been trying to get a correct note issued ever since. If the doctor concerned had just read the e-consult request properly, or even copy/pasted it would have saved a lot of extra work for both myself and the admin staff in having to keep chasing up. The last thing you need when you have been seriously ill is to have to keep chasing the admin on top of dealing with the illness itself.

Within 3 days of enquiring about a consultation for breathing difficulty I had a phone conversation with a doctor, a chest x-ray , spirometry test, 2 face to face consultations and received prescribed medicines. I could not have had better service.

i’ve been waiting and calling for weeks and weeks and i’m still not a registered patient? What is wrong with the GPs in this area i need help and they can’t supply it, it makes you feel hopeless
