  1. Review titled Holistic balanced care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I came to see my GP on the suggestion of another GP from Occupational Health team to talk to my GP regarding my higher than expected blood pressure. My GP helped me become aware of why that may be and suggested exercise and relaxation ; plus change in diet as well as a small dose of cholesterol lowering medication to take care of my cardiovascular health. I was also given a blood test form for 2 months time to see what my cholesterol levels are. I feel heard, seen, welcomed and understood. The doctors are empathetic, knowledgeable, pragmatic and proactive to help me understand and empower me to find better ways of taking care of my own health and wellbeing. The appointments are person focused with options explained clearly. Always kind, approachable and friendly. A rare find.

  2. Review titled Great practice and great doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Booking an appointment with a great doctor has never been easier than this. I could book just a day before in the middle of the day. The doctor was quite kind and friendly, listened to all my compliments and answered all my questions.

  3. Review titled Great attentive and thorough GP's

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I highly recommend this GP medical centre. They are always very quick to see me and my husband. For example I called this morning at 10.30am to book appointments for one thing time pressing and one medication review. I was seen by a doctor at 1pm today and then having a call at the end of the week. Really excellent service. The doctors are very thorough with their investigations. My husband and I both have ongoing medical conditions and have always walked away relieved we found this GP in Finchley Central.

  4. Review titled Slow and Clueless

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have just returned from a visit to the surgery because it takes more than 25mins to get through on the phone, I thought I could get more done. Little did I know that a concern for deep vein thrombosis in my left leg could be left to a phone call sometime on the morning of the 31st October, more than a week away in which I could be dead! Also when I asked about a letter that I requested for my work human resources as I am trying to get a comfortable chair had not been done even though I asked for it a week ago. The receptionist then went on that the NHS app on my phone is useless and wouldn’t show my repeat prescription, as it was not the fault of the surgery, typical body swerve there! It has worked perfectly for me for more than a year. It is the surgery that stops repeat prescriptions because they think I might be dead. Well I am not dead yet, I need the prescription for my prostate as I cannot go to the loo if I don’t take the medication. This surgery was top notch only about a year ago, what has happened?

  5. Review titled Great practice & doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been with the Rosemary practice for over six years . I have been meaning to write an excellent review for a while but was busy. I have always found the surgery to be very efficient . The receptionists are always very quick & attentive . I have always found my doctor to be very supportive , thorough & detailed and takes all the necessary actions that I need . I feel she always goes out of her way to help me with my particular condition & anything else I need. I feel very well taken care of and I cannot recommend Rosemary Surgery Finchley highly enough. Big thank you. I am full of gratitude.

  6. Review titled Rude staff , terrible service !

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Absolutely nonprofessional receptionist. My son is with temperature and really bad cough and they said to me just to go to the local walk in centre where I was and they said to me there is 50 patients before me and my son and better option is to call my GP again. I called back and receptionist said to me GP said you are not emergency so go to the local pharmacy. I went there and the pharmacist said I am not a doctor and I can’t say if there is some illness and what medication your son needs I can only gave you paracetamol. So I am getting home with a sick toddler and very disappointed.

  7. Review titled Fantastic Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by AAG - Posted on 05 February 2023

After struggling for so long as many do to find an attentive GP practice with appointments and availability, I found myself trying Rosemary surgery due to it having the best reviews in our local area at the time a few years ago. I was having health issues and struggling to find anyone who would help me at my then GP. That was when I moved to Rosemary Surgery. They are such kind doctors; extremely attentive, trusting, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and always their her best to help you and are passionate about doing so. I have found all the GPs attentive, and caring, and even during the height of Covid, they were still always prioritising the patients and their welfare, which was admirable. They are extremely prompt with giving test results, ordering prescriptions and contacting you. It can at times be tricky to get appointments for routine stuff/ having to wait a week or two, but for anything urgent they will always try to give you a same day appointment or the next day. At Rosemary, they always follow through if they say they are going to do something (e.g a referral or write to someone on your behalf), which gives you peace of mind as you dont need to keep checking and chasing. Bear in mind, people usually only write reviews when they’re unhappy, so a lot of these reviews are reflecting poorly on a great practice. I can assure you that the practice, its receptionist, and the way in which they operate, are amongst the best I’ve experienced, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Rosemary. I could not recommend this surgery, and the doctors there, enough.

  9. Review titled Gone downhill

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Susan Jackson - Posted on 25 January 2023

I've been with them for 4/5 years now and used to think they were great. Not so much anymore. Its very rare to get past the reception. When you do, great. But the issue with even just speaking with one seems to be getting worse. I tried on Monday as requested by the 111 doctor at the weekend. Who prescribed antibiotics for my chest, I've got emphysema. I'm really rough, and was refused to speak with doctor. Told to wait till antibiotics have kicked in. We'll it's Wednesday now and I still feel ill. Can't breathe properly, I've increased my inhalers myself as I don't know what else to do, my voice has gone because of them I guess, Im coughing more but I don't want to call them again. I feel that rough but the thought of calling again for help and being biffed off by the receptionists depresses me. I've lost confidence in them. And after doing a recce of the local doctors no one is saying much better of any of the others. If you are not urgently sick (sick is sick surely) it's 3 weeks for an appointment , 2 weeks for a phone appointment. Seriously. What has happened to them since covid. Because that's when it all changed. And incidently, working in customer service myself, if you dobattend the surgery, I've seen personally, the receptionists finish their gossip before they turn to ask a patient how they can help. Really builds confidence. I'm looking for another doctor, unfortunately. I used to really feel happy here. Not anymore.

  10. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sylwia Krawczyk - Posted on 09 December 2022

I've been attending Rosemary's GP practice for over a year and I've never experienced such a good care from any doctor before. They always have time to listen to your concerns, are very quick at referring to specialists and I never have to wait long for an appointment. The practice itself is very well run by friendly and attentive team. Thank you for looking after me.
