Always a satisfactory, good experience. The Doctors are wonderful and have looked after my physical health and well-being over many years. My MS is now in the primary progressive phase and I feel very thankful for the Doctors, Nurses and last, but not least, the Reception team that support me.

  2. Review titled Great care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had for the first time a health MOT review done of me with a PCN (Psychological Community Nurse), which I am very impressed with. She asked questions about my physical and mental health and social activities and medication review, even referred me for social prescribing (integrated care, which service users have wanted for years). Definitely highly recommend this service. In fact a GP here, now retired, gave me a similar review about 9 years ago, again a first for me. I hope that this high level of comprehensive care continues, for it will produce a healthier nation in the long run. Bless.

  3. Review titled Outstanding practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been a patient at this practice for over 6 years now, and have received consistently good care from a number of GPs and nurses throughout. I am normally a healthy individual (and until 2020 my issues would be minor complaints and ailments) but I had a major health scare at the very start of the pandemic, and had it not been for my GP and an especially dedicated nurse who looked after me after a routine surgery gone wrong - I'm not sure if I'd still be around, or if my mental health would be relatively intact as it is right now. Over the years, I have dealt with a number of GPs and nurses at Richmond Lock and found them all knowledgeable, approachable, and committed to their patients. Things have always been explained clearly to me, and I felt supported by the medical and support team. I did not experience any issues with receptionists, whom I have always found to have a good telephone manner and compassionate approach.
