    After an annual health review a month ago I was requested to have further tests, this happened within a few days of my first tests. The results of these raised cause for concern. I’ve been astounded how fast firstly the results came back and then the speed in which further tests happened. I then spoke by phone call with a doctor at Redbank who immediately gave me an urgent referral to a dermatologist and I had images taken within days.I was then, after the results of my second tests, examined by another doctor at Redbank who urgently referred me for specialist examinations in a different field and within days I spoke to a specialist nurse and a week later I had a CT scan. I’m now awaiting results as all necessary tests have been carried out. Although it’s a worrying time I would like to take this opportunity to thank Redbank Group Practice for the amazing speed in which all the tests and referrals were carried out and for firstly recognising any potential problems. I am extremely grateful to them for their complete care and efficiency. Although it’s a worrying time I can’t think of how my care could have been any better and that has been so reassuring throughout. I can’t thank Redbank Group Practice enough and I feel lucky to be a patient of theirs

    I have been with this practice for a number of years and always found them to be very efficient and answer in a timely manner. The only downside is the length of time it can sometimes take to get through on the phone .

We face increasing demand each day, and our Team responds as soon as they are able to. Sometimes requests and calls do take longer to action what is requested.

    As someone with multiple medical conditions I contact the surgery regularly so being able to use AskMyGp is fantastic. I've never had an issue sending a request in a morning when needed and it is always dealt with on the day. I personally prefer not to have to be seen if I can help it so like being able to contact via the messenger. The staff are all fantastic, helpful and friendly. The only downside is when the doctor close off the message before being able to respond to their reply which occasionally results in having to contact more than once. This is fully understandable though due to pressure on the service. I've been with the practice for 16 years and am happy with the service I receive.

    I have been with this practice for over 20yrs and can't fault it, I really like the Askmygp, I go on it at 7am and always get a quick reply. Spent 4days trying to get a prescription from my consultant to no avail,contacted the surgery and had one with in hours.

    You can never get an appt. I have been trying for the last 2 months to get a medication review. But apparently the only way is via email. They never have any appts. Your on hold for ages and then they cut you off. It's easier to get hold of the dead. They just don't want to know. Service is non existent.

    Your comments have been noted with regard to your struggle to book a medication review. We ask that patients register for askmyGP which allows them to contact the practice directly via the system which is available from 7am each day. Unfortunately, once it reaches capacity, this service is closed. We do appreciate that patients have to contact the practice, following this and our telephone line remains open. We do receive a significant number of calls daily and this can impact upon access. Unfortunately, we do have a telephone system with limited incoming/outgoing lines, shared with other care services within our building. Our staff do not cut patients off, so if there are any issues with the system, we do need to be aware. We have raised the ‘cutting off’ with the supplier and await their response.

    After using ask mygpfor the first time I received a call from my gp.She called me in at 5pm by 5:30 pm she had me booked into north manchester hospital for General surgery on an infected sebacious cyst on my spine.I Then spent three days in hospital.I am now recovering well all thanks to a prompt reply from red bank and my doctor

    Always use the My GP app and for me it is great for comuncating You get thing sorted out on that day By phone call or email Also I cannot fault the staff or Doctors at this practice They do a fantastic job Thank you

    Spoke to nurse and arranged to see the same nurse the following day. Put on askmygp a reminder of the time snd it was with another nurse. When I asked how come this was the case, I didn’t recieve a response and then the receptionist just closed the request with no response. What really infuriates me is the lack of continuity in this place. Along with the lack of compassion and very basic manners and communication to patients. You can bet you bottom dollar if shoe were on the other foot they’d expect answers. It makes me laugh I see the sign about non tolerance of verbal abuse towards staff, but the attitude and absolute rudeness of some I can start to understand why patients get so frustrated. I don’t condone it by any stretch. But it’s also a two way streak.
