Phoned today to arrange an appointment with the Nurse. The receptionist was lovely, very polite and managed to get me an appointment on my day off, highly recommend this surgery 😊

Yesterday, like all the times I use this service I received a professional and helpful service throughout and the staff here always seem to go the extra mile to help / assist. Yesterday like any other time I have always managed to get an “on the day emergency appointment” which is always a blessing. I can only give praise and thanks to all staff at this surgery from reception to the medical staff as they all do their best to provide a helpful and timely service which is a struggle in this day and age within the NHS. I highly rate this surgery and the staff. “Thank you”

I have been with Parkside Practice for almost 9 years now, and I didn't have one bad experience. Starting with the phone call, the receptionists are very efficient, so kind and professional at the same time. I would like to mention the healthcare assistants , the nurses and of course the doctors. Also, a very good collaboration with the Pharmacy. Thank you all.

I’ve been with the surgery for many years and have no complaints at all , when I’ve rung with an emergency always got same day appointment, fantastic help with my prescriptions and vaccinations when needed. Been amazing with all of my 4 children’s care over the years .

Just tried to obtain a routine appointment and it appears that during the time the two surgeries are merging, there are no routine appointments only emergency appointments at other surgeries. How can the health service think that it is acceptable that tens of thousands of patient can not obtain routine appointments because surgeries are merging for an unlimited period, it is bad enough the public are required to wait weeks for a routine appointment as it is. Utter managerial incompetence. I have only ever had an excellent service in the past from my surgery.

I called the practice regarding my son. I was expecting to be offered a telephone appointment, but after explaining his symptoms the receptionist gave an appointment that same morning for an hour later. The Doctor who saw my son was absolutely brilliant, very thorough and definitely put my mind at rest. I really wasn’t expecting for him to be seen so quickly. A fantastic service. I’ve been with Parkside for many years and they have always been brilliant.

Unfortunately I have had cause to visit my surgery a few times recently and have been referred to hospital twice. Each time I have visited the practice everyone has been very kind and helpful, and patient! Yes they are very busy and it can be difficult to get an appointment sometimes but everyone is very helpful from reception through to the GP,s and I cannot praise them enough. Thank you.

Words are not enough to express my gratitude to this practice. To provide background, I use treadmill for fast walk 3 times a week since last more than 10 yrs. In first week of Sept 2022 while doing so, I experienced tightness in my chest and shortness of breath. I called to Parkside practice reception early morning to get GP urgent appointment and grateful that reception booked prompt appointment just after half an hour on same day. I was seen by one of the extremely talented Doctor at practice. After seeing her she advised me if can I wait for ECG for an hour which I did. In ECG, Doctor noticed some changes, wrote a referral letter for hospital and advised me to go straightway. I went to Southampton General Hospital. In the hospital my ECG and other investigation were performed on priority in next few hours. I was admitted and advised about my condition and possible options. Some procedures were performed on same day. I am very extremely grateful to one of the eminent cardiologist at Southampton General Hospital there. I was discharged from hospital next day late afternoon. It was very risk as informed at time of discharge. I owe my life to these messengers if god, truly grateful.

Recently had my annual Diabetic review which was great experience from start to finish. From: - the e-mail/text prompting me to make my annual appointment, - to the ease of making the appointment which was the following week, - attending the appointment the reception and nursing staff were lovely - to the text confirming my bloods were fine. Easy and efficient, i was amazed with the follow up text reassuring me the results were good. I had expected to have to chase this by phone. Streamlined and efficient, using technology to provide quick and simple prompts and updates. Thank you !
