  1. Review titled A joke of a practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

You try to call them to let them know that you’re running late (arrived 7 mins late) but engaged and tou get to the practice phones are ringing and no one is on the phone. You’re not seen because you’re late which is fair enough but I find it ludicrous that you’re late 7 mins and are not seen but countless of times I’ve been on time or slightly early and have to wait 30+ mins to be seen - absolutely ridiculous!

Dear Patient, Thank you for your review and sorry that you were not happy with our service. Please note we have a 10 minutes’ policy for all our patients which means if you arrive up to 10 minutes from your actual appointment our clinicians will still see you but it may take longer. With regards to your long waiting time we are sorry that this has happened however due to some of the patients’ medical queries and needs, their consultations may take longer than usual which is not avoidable unfortunately. Regarding your waiting over the phone please contact and provide more information such as date and time that I can investigate it further. Please get back to us via nhsnwl.prmp.feedback@nhs.net or call the surgery and ask for the practice manager that we investigate your concerns further. Kind Regards, Practice Manager Park Royal Medical Practice

  2. Review titled So bad

I’ve been prescribed a medicine twice from my hospital as I am a cancer patient unfortunately the prescription has to come from GP. To do this I call them and explain an d send them the letter from the hospital, to get t prescription from GP it takes 7days but for me it took one moth the first time and this time I’m still watching since Oct 9. I call almost everyday to explain for different staff they say they’ll do it hang up but nothing happens. Today I ran out out my medicine and I don’t know what to do. It’s really frustrating I can’t have this on top of my cancer.

  3. Review titled terrible

is not possible to get appointment over there. First you need to call (wait up to 1 hour) just to get to know that there is no more slot. Try on line. Online I fulfilled survey (once I received answer on line, once finally someone call me but probably even did not read my records). Last 3 months I was trying to have appointment- last time I was able to see doctor probably 2021. Now I have very urgent issue end up paying privately as pain was to big. I am leaving this practise. Is not gp practise anymore- is rather call centre.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your review and sorry to hear about the difficulty you had in booking an appointment. Please note, all our routine appointments will be released Monday to Friday from 8.00am based on first come first serve. Also we have several online appointments (called Patchs) every day that we advise our patients to use for their routine queries during the day and one of our clinicians (depending on the query, it may be GP, Nurse, Clinical Pharmacist) will get back to you within 72 hours. If the clinician believes that you need to have a face to face appointment, they will arrange it for you. With regards to the waiting time over the phone, we have a cloud based telephone system that it records all the calls and analysis the data such as how many calls we receive every day, the average patient waiting time in the queue until to be answered, the longest waiting time each day, etc. The current evidence shows that our patients waiting time is under 5 minutes every day and the longest waiting time during our pick hour (between 8am-8.45am) was less than 16 minutes. Please get back to us via nhsnwl.prmp.feedback@nhs.net that we investigate your concerns further. Kind regards, Practice Manager Park Royal Medical Practice

  6. Review titled Unhelpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Zamzam Yusuf - Posted on 23 November 2022

I have been calling the GP for the lat two years every time I needed and there is no one single day that I managed to get a doctors appointment. However this week me and my son got so unwell, even though I’m the first to call the GP on the dot at 8am but I’m still denied an appointment, even though I’m only a patient number 10. The receptionist directed me to book an appointment online but when I went online the page directs me to call the reception in order to book an appointment. There is huge confusion and the way they treat patients is really unprofessional. I am looking around to move myself and my family from this GP. It’s not operating appropriately as it should and I really suggest that people should involve outside resources to expose what’s happening to the patients at Park Royal Medical Practice.

  7. Review titled Awful service and no appoitmnet for a three years old

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 October 2022

I have my little boy (4 years old) who has a high fever and have tried to book an appointment with the GP and waited on the phone for 40 minutes and could not make an appointment. I know they say it is on first come first serve basis but this is an emergency and are we expected to go to A&E for everything? What is the point of having a GP? He is a little kid and have to go and wait at least 4 hours to be seen? This is totally unacceptable and unhuman.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your review and sorry to hear about the difficulty to book an appointment. Please note all our routine appointments will be release Monday to Friday from 8.00am based on first come first serve. However, our clinicians will see the children under age of five as an extra patient when it’s needed. Please bear in mind that if the child has any emergency medical need, it is more appropriate and safer to be seen in A&E with a specialist. We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss these matters further. Please telephone the practice on 020 8961 1183 and ask to speak with the Practice Manager (Mr Meysam Hemmati). We look forward to speaking to you soon. Kind regards, Practice Manager Park Royal Medical Practice

  8. Review titled Avoid at any cost

Rated 1 star out of 5

You just cant get appointments at this terrible practice. 5+ receptionists and maybe 1 or 2 doctors in this very crowded area. I have been very unwell and been trying to book an appointment for over a week, there is no chance. You will always get told to call at 8am and when i do so, 8am on the dot, i am number 28 in the q. Then when ask for an appointment i get told to go to A&e as they have no appointments available. It happens every single time we need to see a doctor. Then we end up in A&e and have to wait for 6hours plus. This cant always be possible especially when you are a mother to 2 young kinds. Im not talking about one occasion, it is literally constant. It has always been like this since we were unlucky enough to join. Avoid At any cost . Its pointless to be registered at a gp if you cant even see a doctor and end up at A&e all the time.

Dear Mayank, It was nice to talk to you over the phone today. Again, thank you for your review and I'm sorry that you had a long wait in the queue to book an appointment. At certain times such as 8am when the practice starts and releases the routin appointments for the day, our lines can be busier. Also, we offer online consultation for our routin queries (none emergency) which patients can complete through our website. For patients who have special conditions such as pregnancy, they can get priority appointment. I'm glad your wife spoke to the GP during the weekend and resolved her concern. I assure you, that your wife will receive the right support during her pregnancy. Please do contact if you have any further concerns. Meysam Hemmati Practice Manager
